Mercy on Your House

Faithful God, again we gather before you say Father, thank you for this feast you have set before us. Help us, O Lord, to receive these words into a good ground. Help us to hear you through these words. Faith coming by hearing and hearing from you.

That is where it ends. Help us to hear from you and redirect our steps. Reposition us for greater heights until we all become the type of children we want us to be. Empower this claim with your Holy Spirit to give up your word.

The strength of grace. Utterances reveal knowledge, wealth of knowledge. The aim that we don't stand here to speak our mind to the congregation. No.

Let Christ increase while we decrease before you this our ns expectation. Thank you our faithful Father, for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Mercy on your house.

Mercy on your house. It is very, very important we know the things God has provided, the things he has made available for us to enable us serve him intentionally. Serving with purpose. Mercy is key.

This is how God present himself to confuse Satan. That when man fell into sin, he thought that was the end of man. Yes, man has fallen. Now where can he now have?

No, it was there. It was his own mistake. He did not know who is greater. Satan did not know much about his creator, God.

So since God is a spirit and he is a spirit, he felt that he and God have the same character or they have the same strength. No, God is a creator over Satan. And so when God generated mercy to save man, he was confused. And that is why we must insist to ensure that we contact the mercy of God.

We should insist our Christian life to make sure that mercy of God never elude us. Insist on it. Mercy. Even when you are praying, start with mercy.

Because without his mercy, there is nothing that can bring us close to Him. Without his mercy, there is no other wind of God that can make us to achieve anything or even get anything we want is through mercy. It was mercy that gave birth to grace. That is not all.

It's just grace. By grace. Yes, it's by grace. But it's mercy that give back to it.

Mercy born grace. So we can now gather ourselves under his mercy and expect us to expect us to become what God wants us to be without his mercy. No, we can go nowhere. It's not possible.

Where do we start? Where do we start? Bible said we have all sinned and have come short of the glory of God. So once we have seen that, there is nothing we can do to bring ourselves to God.

It's not by righteousness. Even if we practice righteousness, now it's because of the availability of of grace through mercy. Understand the operation. Even if we try to do one thing or the other, right, we can say now, by the grace of God, we are doing this one right.

We are overcoming this area. We are enjoying victory in this area. It's by mercy first. It's mercy that enable us to produce grace that was available in Christ.

Now by grace you can say, thank God, I'm overcomer in this area. Thank God, I'm victorious in this area. Thank you, thank God, I'm strengthened in this area. But without mercy first, no grace.

Without mercy, no grace. And without grace there is no enabling power. So we cannot overcome, we cannot achieve. So all what we are doing.

Let us ensure that we contact God's mercy first. The mercy will produce sufficient grace to live the type of life God want us to be. Turn your Bible to Oshia, Chapter one. I read verse seven.

Osha, chapter one, verse seven. But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah and will save them by the Lord their God. And will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horse, by horses, nor by horsemen. Hear what God is saying.

Your defense, your protection, your provision must be by God alone, not the instrument of any man. I will not save them with any of those things. I will save them myself. And the house of Judah, when he passed through the lineage of Christ, that is where we are born, means you are a bona fide child of Christ through.

By. Through God. You are a child of God through Christ by faith. And so the mercy now have dragged us under the family of God.

And he said, I will have mercy upon the house of Judah. So let mercy be on your house. Let mercy insist, struggle, work for it, sacrifice for it that it contacts the mercy of God. This year we are just the half second half of the year.

God will have mercy on you. Yes, we are in a season of his mercy. God will have mercy. What happened?

What will happen when God show mercy to your house? What will happen? What is the advantage? What do you stand to gain when God show mercy to your house?

That mercy is upon your house. It means every member of your family will not be destroyed by the things that destroy others. Mercy. It means that every member of your family will not be killed by what kill others?

Mercy. Mercy. It means every member of your family will not be stumbling by what makes others to stumble. Mercy.

It's what makes the difference. God show it in the land of Egypt. He demonstrated it. Mercy.

There was darkness here, there was no darkness there. There Was flies and blood in all their waters. And there was nothing here. The difference was made clear here.

Everybody was crying Here no cry. That is what mercy can do. So when mercy God show mercy to your house, it means every member of your family will escape collective destruction. What massively kill others will not come to you.

It's a very fearful time. We are in this recent time. At the amount of the type of flood that is raging the mostly African countries is terrible. It has not been happening like that.

Flood sink the whole house down. Cars lost. Nobody knows where this flood is coming. As we get close to the end of the world, be prepared.

You'll be seeing so many strange, strange, strange things that has not been there from the beginning. Where is this flood coming up now? Both Ghana, all the coastal areas. Flood is just destroying massively.

We are in Nigeria preside. We are just by the ocean. We are not far from the ocean here. If God did not restrict the flow.

We are just at the message of God. What is causing this massive flood that is destroying almost of the African nation, including foreign nations. They are suffering the the torment of flood. Their scientists are all there.

They have no power to stop the flood. Here in Nigeria they try to give the announcement. So social city, social government or states we suffer flood. Stop it now as you have known it.

Yes. It's not only to tell. The people say flood is coming. Flood is coming.

They tell these people announce to this and we have heard flood is coming. Stop it for us. Let it not come. No power.

That is where we need God's grace. Mercy, mercy. That is how it was in the days of Noah When George directed Noah that flood is coming. They are in, they are arguing how, how, how?

They are all there. Before their eyes the water rise. Cover everybody here. They have suddenly announced, oh, there will be flood.

So, so time. Let's say so state. Be careful about certain number of states in the country. We suffer flood Ghana is it only announcement.

Stop the flood now. Let it not come. Places like Leaky. They have all deserted the place the town sink.

So many places in Lagos. So many places in Ghana. Where is this flood coming? These are things we sit back and question ourselves.

Is it this end? Is this the end? What are we seeing? What are we hearing?

Is it the end? Find out then what are we going to do? There is no other way to escape for your life. That's what God told us.

To escape for your life. The things are happening. Strange things are happening. So when God show mercy to your house, it means that members of your house will escape collective destructions.

They will escape the wrath of an anger of God. That is to say, every member of your family will not suffer loss. They will not fail. It's not possible.

It is a function of mercy. You have contacted mercy. You have contacted mercy. So mercy will create the difference.

Mercy reproduce the difference. And so our effort is to make sure that we contact God's mercy. That we give total exemption for everything that is happening around us. That means that when God show you mercy, Paul, release mercy on your.

On your household. Everybody will smile. Everybody will smile in that house. His mercy will override judgment.

Judgment things that could have killed you or destroy you. Judgment will mercy will overtake it. He will override judgment with mercy. Their life is exempted.

That is exactly what we need now in this present time of our season in Nigeria. Apart from that, we are running to another season. God has designed that we must contact Kingdom blessing. Kingdom blessing more than what we are hustling.

See if God leave us to hustle. I think once you start be business. Oh yeah. Let me see you one time meal.

They cannot give yourself. I promise you. What do you know that others don't know in this country? What did you learn?

What do you read that others have not read? If God leave us. Okay, I think I struggle. Can struggle.

Let me see your effort. I promise as a one time meal you cannot put on our table. It's mercy. It's mercy that will give us satisfaction.

That is what makes him to be Jesus over our lives. So the best way to contact this Jesus Mercy said mercy on your house. I will have mercy upon the house of of Judah. And we saved them by the Lord their God.

That was how David defeated Goliath. Not by weapon. He said, you come against me with bow and arrow. I think me I'm coming to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Israel, whom you defend.

I'm coming to against you. See, this is what I'm going to do. I will cut off your neck with your sword. Goliath.

Look at the possibilities of what this man is saying. Small boy, I will tear you to the best. Come now. So he thought David will be running back when he's moving forward.

David was also moving forward. That is victory. Not by sword is what Jesus the Bible is saying. I will save them not by bow and arrow, not by sword, not by battle, not by horses, not even by horsemen.

So everything that we carry in our hearts that is trying to give us confidence bury them. Insist on the mercy of God. I am see time has passed when they say, man, no man. That time has passed.

Now is God no man. Operate with that system. God no man. If others say something is working for them, you two can stand up and hit your chest.

Blood of Jesus is working for me. Know how to apply it, know how to engage it, know how to drink it. And that is what God is saying. He will not save them with any of these things that is familiar to man.

He's not going to save them with any of this that is known to man. He will save them by the God of their salvation. He will save them by that. So that is what we must understand, that what we need in this present life now is no other thing.

Mercy on our house. Everybody will be successful. We will escape. We will smile together the same time because of the mercy that is running in our lives.

Turn your Bible with me to Luke. Gospel. The Gospel According to St. Luke, chapter 19. Read from verse 1.

The Gospel According to St. Luke. And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans. And he was rich.

Oh, so rich people too also look for God. It's not these days people. Rich people these days, rich people have no need for God. They don't have no regard, they don't have respect for God.

Rich people, the man Bible says he was rich. They say if you go to church regular, it means you are poor. You don't you are a lazy man. It's only lazy people that look for God.

That is what they said. Now in this present day, among the rich people, they hear what Bible said about this publican. And he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus.

Did not wait until he invites Jesus to come to his house. This one. He sought to see Jesus who he was and could not for the press because he was little of stature. And he ran before and climbed up into a sycamore tree.

For he was to pass that way. You know the direction. See, this is where Christ is coming to pass. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must abide in thy house.

Mercy. Mercy. Want to enter Zacchaeus house. Mercy is Jesus Christ is the the mercy of God by Christ is the mercy.

So he said, mercy, want to enter. I want to enter your house today. Salvation through Christ coming from God. And so mercy is Jesus Christ himself.

That time in the days of Usha it has not Jesus have not manifested so they know him that God can show them Mercy. But our time now Jesus has manifested very clear. So Jesus told him, today I want to enter your house. I want to abide in the house.

Haven't heard this. Zacchaeus did something very, very remarkable. Hear what he said. And he made haste and came down and receive him joyfully.

This is the approach to attract the mercy of God. This is the approach to attract the mercy of God to come into your house. Mercy on your house. Zacchaeus having had this invitation, Jesus said to him, today I am coming down to your house.

I will abide in your house. And once he had that, he made haste intentionally. I keep telling ourselves here, each time you are coming to house of God, be intentional, just for sure. Even if you just come in and go back, you are going home with mercy.

First of all, mercy is accompanying you to your home. And jac make haste, come down and receive Jesus joyfully. Joyfully. Many of us are tired with Christ now.

Nothing, no interest, no joy, no happiness in our in our effort to worship God. Our worshiping of God has no effort. We are not making any effort. We are not receiving Jesus Christ joyfully.

We are angry inside our spirit. That is why I can see the the scar services in our weekly services in our approach to God. No joyfulness. All of us, we are just anguish of faces.

Because we are struggling on our own effort and because we are struggling with our own effort, we find it difficult to contact the mercy of God as to carry the anointing of provision that enable us to lay our hand on anything we do. And we flow with it. Whatever the righteous man do it, it shall prosper. It is the anointing we carry that will give us that enablement.

But here are we no joyfulness. Tell me how we can contact the mercy of God. Jacchaeus had this truth. He said Jesus he make his come down and receive Jesus joyfully.

And when he saw it, they all murmured saying that he was going to be guest with a man that is a sinner. People may know your past, they may know you are ugly past, you are this, you are that, that was your past, that was your past. But they can't know your present. Again where God where people have made full stop in your life.

That is where God is forwarding with a new statement, new sentence. All together they have made a full stop in your life. This is where this man is going to stop. But that is where God is beginning a new sentence.

That is the progress. They were hungry that God Jesus is going to be a guest with a man. That is A sinner. Some will even love you to die by now.

But he refused to die. Why mercy is still flowing along with you. You are flowing with mercy. While they are recording and counting your past.

They don't know that you have contacted mercy that has wiped away your past, your present, including your future. That that is the effect of mercy does not just forgive the past, it also claims the future. Even if the sin you are going to commit tomorrow is under the blood of Jesus. But that is not a license to sin anyway.

That is how God deal with is. Is the mercy operation that while we are here sinners. While we are here sinners. That is the scripture, Mercy.

So that before you alive become well arranged. God have already jammed you with mercy. You have jumped Christ's mercy. So you don't die the death of others.

You don't suffer the defeat that caused other people to be defeated. You don't stop ashamed what causes shame to others. You are given total exemption. And Zacchaeus stood and said unto the Lord, they are already making their confession on his behalf.

But he too knows that they have made mistake. He was not hiding. They told Jesus, Lord, behold the half of my goods I will give to the poor. And if I have taken anything from any man by falsehood, I will restore fourfold hundred.

He said fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, this day is salvation. Come into this house. For as much as he also is the son of Abraham, for the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Mercy on your house. We must insist on that. And this is the season of God's mercy. Don't let him pass you by.

He told them that he has come to save him. And from that day things begin to turn around and the house of Zacchaeus. And this is exactly what will happen to us when mercy rests on our house. Mercy on your house.

It's important we attract God's mercy. The entire family, we smile together because God's presence is there. Don't come home and suffer pains of all types. Suffer pain of destruction, pain of failure.

The mercy of God will override judgment. Old agreement. Whatever thing that keep people under yoke or bondage, the mercy break them. The the mercy was demonstrated in the presence of Christ when a woman was caught in adultery.

All of them we are breathing today. Go die. Today you go die. You will see, you will see, you will die.

That they not go with the man. That is one of the partiality. They carried the man before Christ. The woman did not know.

Little did she know that they are taking her to the best place where her Martha will be treated with mercy. They thought they are going to do her something very painful. And in fact that is the end of her life. They are pushing her to Christ.

Little did she know that they are taking her to the best place where she is going to meet with mercy. All of them are Britain up. This woman was caught in the very act. Moses said, this is what you're supposed to do to her.

Okay, you call yourself Savior. What is your judgment? Look at them, at the face, one by one. If anyone, you have not done anything wrong.

Because among them there are publicans as well. We are working with Zacchaeus. They need. They know them.

Some of them are polycarps. They resort money. If you give them receipt, government receipt is there. They also have their private receipt.

When they collect government receipts for in the morning till 12, they put it in the bag, bring out their receipt. They will collect their receipt from that moment till 6 o'. Clock. They will refuse to close.

They are there. That is how they do. They know them. They are like present day.

I don't want to mention them, but that is how they are. They know them. Now Jesus asked, is there anyone that among you who have not done it? Let them first of all cast the first stone at her condemnation.

Guilt begin to torture them. Guilt and condemnation start to torture them until none of them have a strong hand to carry stone and cast on her. Jesus Christ was sitting right, I'm waiting for you. He was writing on the ground until he lifted up his face and said, woman, where are your accusers?

Your accusers will leave you without casting any stone at you. Yes. They can't just. They don't save you.

They are not your. They are not your Jesus. You are not your Jesus. They have no power to condemn you.

Your sin is against Christ, not them. Do not sin against them. You sin against God and Jesus has. God has sent his son Jesus for our deliverance.

The human said, no, man. Sir, it's okay. I've shown you mercy. Go, but don't repeat this offense again.

Mercy. Mercy will not strengthen us. And we now live overcoming life. Mercy will enable us to become what God wants us to be.

Mercy will reposition us to attract God's blessing favor, attract God's provision. That was how Zacchaeus he received the mercy of God and become what God want him to be. Turn your Bible with me to Zach. Zachariah.

Zechariah, chapter 9, verse 9 to 10. Read. Rejoice greatly, O daughters of Zion. Shout, O Daughters of Jerusalem, behold, thy king cometh unto thee.

He is just and having salvation lonely and riding upon her heart and upon a colt the fire of an ash. I will cut off the chariots from Ephraim and the horses from Jerusalem, and the battle bough shall not be cut off. And he shall speak peace to the hidden. And his dominion shall be from sea even to the sea, and from river even to the end of the earth.

He's talking about the overflow of mercy. When we position ourselves to attack, attract God's mercy. The only way to attract God's mercy is the position Zacchaeus took. Be joyful in the worship of God.

Let God give you the highest joy. Be happy in serving God. Be intentional in fulfilling the purposes of God. Not when we are fulfilling our own purposes.

Self interest, carnality, all what we are struggling is just to make two ends meet. So much that anything about God become nonsense. No, we are going nowhere with such an attitude. Let's approach God with a new approach.

New attitude of receiving him joyfully. Respect your salvation. Respect your salvation. Honor God in your life.

Not just everything. It does not matter. It does not matter. What happened?

This one said I sin. This one said not sin. Hey, you too can't sin. That's why the church tire me.

Everything sin, sin. No, it is the things we will do that will position us working by grace. Working by grace. I've told you that it's mercy that give birth to grace.

So if by grace now he can do any little obedient or practice little righteousness is because mercy have done it. If mercy was not there, he can't get that strength to do it. So he has given grace. And so when we understand this mystery of how God relates with us through mercy, by grace, then we become very humble and sincere in our dealing with God.

Sincerity is important. When others are condemning Zacchaeus, he did not make any statement. Rather he meant for to make his confessions, to obtain more mercy. He was making his confession.

Father, if I've stolen anything, I will take away. I'll give them back for food. Just like that. He was making his confession because he knows the importance of mercy.

jamesudotong, chapter two. jamesudotong chapter two. I read from verse 13. For he shall have judgment without mercy that had shown no mercy.

And mercy rejoices over judgment. So when mercy come to your house, it will override the judgment that is already written. The handwritten, written against your family. Mercy will overrun it.

Change it. Change the handwriting that was against you, things that was intended to destroy you. Mercy will Wipe them away. That is how mercy operates.

And right now we are in the season of of mercy. Don't let this time pass. Because after now what is going to happen is judgment. People will save their life with their own blood.

People will go to heaven not by mercy again, but by judgment. Because immediately after now the door of mercy will be closed. Once the church move mercy have ended, what will happen is judgment. And that is why we have tribulation sense.

Revelation says that those who will refuse to accept the mark of the beast, they will not accept. When they then they saw how the sense were just raptured, suddenly everybody just left massively say ah. Which time? So okay, this you are saying is true?

This is true. This is true? Yes, it's true this year, bro. No, I am this again.

How about your sister? She have gone. How about your? They have gone.

They. Oh, they have truly they have gone. Okay, if that is true, then I will stand by my faith. I will not take the mark of the beast.

Come watch me. And they will actually kill them. As soon as they kill them. Yeah, they are coming over to meet the saints.

As soon as they kill them, they come to the heaven to meet the saints. They are the people that will answer the tribulation saints. And then Christ will now march us to the marriage supper of the lamb. It's by mercy.

So this is the season that God is showing mercy to people who want to turn to him. And once we do that, we are going to contact the mercy of God. It will enable us to serve God with intention. It will enable us to approach God purposefully.

You have a purpose, not just everybody curious. Let's go to know you know why you are serving God. So you are not moved by what people are saying or doing your own is that let me carry the mercy of God. The mercy of God will give you total exemption of what is happening in our world today.

Total exemption. And this is exactly what we need now in this present time on the history of our world. We need God's mercy. Turn your Bible to Hebrew chapter 4.

Hebrew chapter 4. I will read from verse 15:14 preferably seeing then that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens. Jesus, the son of God. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith.

The profession, our faith. Things we believe have become our profession. It means that we must live what we believe become our lifestyle, our profession. You will hear some people call a man, his name is Ezekiel, but he's a driver.

Then that Ezekiel has lost what you hear people call driver. Driver. Tailor, Carpenter. Come, come.

The the profession of this individual has taken over his real name. This is exactly what God wants us to look like. That we live our faith. The lifestyle we are living is our faith.

Not how we are brought up. In the area we are born, we are faith. So the faith we are holding has become our profession. Bible said let us hold fast the profession of our faith.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched but with the feeling of our infirmities. But was in all point tempted as we are yet without sin. He has feeling of our infirmities. He has passed through this process.

He has passed through this earthly life. He knows. He knows our our pains. He understand such a high priest is standing for us in the heavenlies.

What a great privilege because of that. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy. Everybody say mercy. Yes, that is what we need.

Let mercy fall on our house. Mercy on our house. Let us comfortably to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. There is no other time of need in the history of our country more than now.

We have more serious need now than before. Than before. So let us come boldly. It will demand our sincerity.

It will demand our intention purposefully serving God. Today is Sunday. No other business. You have closed every activity.

I want to go to the house of worship. Can't you attend our meeting? I better keep that meeting. Yet many of us have no such capacity.

If they call you for a business of 15,000 you are closing down church. I better let me go outside them. Even if I come later, I don't mind the taste of God. Just drop rapidly.

You have no interest, no joy. Only what give you joy in the heart is anything related to money. Money, money. Anything related connected to money.

You are concerned so God and his word can go later. Let them go. Let I will go back. If we run our Christian life in that background, in that strength then we are going nowhere.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith. Live be faith. I can't come today. But the money is waiting.

Come and collect the money. Keep it. Keep it. Sometimes these people life challenge me.

These people we call Muslim and they want to go for their Friday prayers. Come and see seriousness in them. Even the market they are selling. Say Malam send me this thing.

Gas care is 5,000. Look I pay for as he told you. Gas care. That is L. He will not talk anything again.

If he like talk till tomorrow he will tell you again. See I want to go for prayer. I want to go for master, you are still talking 5. Okay, let me pay 4,005.

Thank God we are in the new season. Let us change and give new approach to God. Let us hold fast our profession, the profession of our faith. Hold fast and see how God is going to rule us over in these few days of our later days of our life on earth.

And in the present season we are in. Let God take us out and we have the communion. Very significant. Let's use it to obtain mercy of God.

Call it. Carry it intentionally and ask God to visit you with his mercy. Where do you want God to miss to have mercy on you? Use the communion to pray.

We are going to have a brief altar call right now. Call your master. Give us a hymn. Altar call.

Altar Call him. The hall is not conducive for now. The floor is not yet smooth, still rough. So if you kneel down it will sustain your clothes.

There's no doubt. Just stand where you are. When the time comes, knee down exactly from your seat. Kneel down from there and begin to call God.

He's here in our midst. God is very present. 199199 For all they called Jesus will give you rest. Will you come?

Contact mercy this day. Is there an area you are still demonstrating weakness, carnality, disobedience. Seeing that you Refuse to take out of your life because you are enjoying it. It's going to be terrible.

Don't wait for judgment day. The time to turn to God for mercy. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace so that we can obtain mercy to live a victorious and sustainable life here on earth before we roll over to eternity. Mercy God.

You can just grab the mercy of God to turn your weaknesses into strength. To turn your pains and your tears into joyful season and moment. We are in the presence of God right now. We're in the season that God is showing mercy to people.

The season is now. If you have such challenges still hanging around you, making it possible for you to shine for Christ in victory and in strength. The time to turn to Christ is now. By obtaining his mercy.

For you,. Holy. Jesus, we give him rest. O.

Sweet. Forever. Jesus will give you rest. Contact the mercy of God to quench all your pains, tears, sorrow.

Contact the mercy of God to break through in this season of his power. What you are not able to achieve last quarter, last half of the year. This is is the day of Jesus Christ. Today mark the end of your failures and depravity, your denial of anything that has stopped you from moving forward.

Contact mercy of God and advance now in this season of his power. Him. Jesus. Jesus will give you Ra.

Come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy to meet in troubled moments in this season. Grab the mercy of God to confront sicknesses that have kept you down over the months, over the years.
