We thank God for the opportunity I've given us for the second session and to prove that actually God is here with us. You know, I always try to get signs and to know how God is leading us. So in line with what the first session. Remember being remembered by God.

That we are remembered by God. Right? The Word came to me yesterday. I did not even think too much about, but it came yesterday.

And it's concerning our inheritance in Christ. The topic is our inheritance in Christ. Or you can say the nature of inheritance. Let's look at it, because it's actually wide.

But for the purpose of the fast, let's focus on the nature of our inheritance. The nature of our inheritance. Now, it's important for us to understand where we are coming from and why this has come to us today. Because a lot of Christians, a lot of us today, we have forgotten that there is something.

There is. There's a reason why we are hoping. I am not wasting time. You have to tell yourself this thing.

You can beat your chest and tell yourself, now, I am not wasting time. See, it's important we understand that the God you are seeking, it doesn't. It's not that God is wicked, you know, Sometimes you be like, why did God. Why can't he just answer us instantly?

Sometimes you wonder, like, what is the point of all these prayers? You know? Are you aware that God knows exactly what you are looking for anyway, before you even kneel down to pray, he knows exactly what you're about to say. The question now is, how do you seek a God that knows exactly what you need?

I don't know if you have ever asked yourself that question, like, he knows exactly that you are going to come in the next five minutes. I'm going to say something. He knows exactly what you are going to cry for. He knows that you are in pain.

He knows that you are hungry. He knows that you are tired. He knows everything. He knows more than you know.

How do you then approach a God that knows everything? How do you fast for a God that knows everything? Is it that he takes pleasure in you suffering? Is it that it gives him joy when you see, ah, this one is sweating, this one is crying?

Is it that it takes? Which kind of father will see those things? Why are these things happening? It's important for us to understand the nature of our inheritance, because if we don't understand, we will be like those people that are hopeless.

And we are not hopeless. I am not hopeless. Look at Hannah crying, weeping. They assumed that she was drunk, but she knew what she Was seeking.

But you know, when there's a way you see God and people will be like this one is already mad. Like you, don't you have what to do? Don't you have what to do on Tuesday? Don't you have what to do on Monday?

Why you is he only you that is a Christian? You know, that's the kind of voices we hear. People don't understand that there is something about our inheritance that believers need to understand and come back to. Now, what is our inheritance?

Inheritance is basically a promise. Basically, it's the promise that God has assured us. Now, one thing I took from the last session that we had is that God remembrance only takes place when a promise has been initiated. God cannot remember you like there must be something before remembrance can take place.

For example, you know when the Bible says the Holy Spirit remind you of all things, Some people usually now use that in the exam that the Holy Spirit reminds you of all things. But you don't understand that it's only what you have read that will be remembered. You cannot remember what you never learned. You cannot remember what has never entered your head.

So the same thing with God. If God has not promised you something, then there's nothing about remembrance. So when we are seeking God and we are asking him to remember us, one thing that I stood out there is that you must understand that it's only his promise that will be activated. Some people are telling God to remember them for something that was not even in your book.

Hope you know that it is a book written concerning us. The Bible said that Jesus said, I have come in the volume of the book written concerning me. Jesus went to read his book. He understood even Daniel by understanding, by study, he found out that oh, that the Bible or there was a prophecy concerning Israel that they will be in exile in Babylon for 70 years.

So by studying the scripture, he understood that it was almost time for them to deliver. Then he went to God and prayed for 21 days, fasted and he received an answer. You see that Daniel, because there was a promise that has already been activated, he tarried with that promise and he got it. So because the Bible said, the weary of the sorry, the labor of the foolish wearyates him.

It's a way you can wait on God. And what you are waiting on is not something he has promised you. I'm telling you, you can make. That's why we need to pray for mercy.

Because you can be seeking the wrong thing. And that's what we don't want to go into. I don't Even know why I'm saying this, But I'm saying it because I feel that the Holy Spirit wants us to understand that the Holy Spirit, God will only remember what he has promised. If he has not promised you something, you might just be what?

Behaving like the fool that is trying to look for the entrance to the city. But because he's a fool, he will labor in vain. May that not be our portion in Jesus name. This is why we pray for what?

Mercy. Mercy opens your eye. I remember I was reading this morning, Daniel prayed with his friends that God should show them mercy so that they will see the secrets of the king. They will see the secret things of God, and that's how they will interpret his dream.

So mercy opens your eyes to see. Now we're talking about inheritance, and I feel there's a connection and God wants us to understand something here. Like I said, inheritance is spiritual. Our inheritance is the promise of God.

Right? Another way to look at inheritance is that possession. That possession. Right it is.

Inheritance is something that was that we receive the day we give our life to Christ. The day I accept Jesus Christ, I automatically have an inheritance. Now let's look at one of the things nature of inheritance. Because I want to focus on.

Let me just list some of the inheritance first. One of the inheritance in Christ Jesus is forgiveness of sin, cleansing from all unrighteousness, deliverance. So deliverance, forgiveness of sin, receiving mercy. This is one of our inheritance.

And if you look at Romans chapter 7:4, verse 7 to 8, Romans chapter 4, verse 7 to 8. Let's look there. Chapter 4, verse 7 to 8,. and 8, say, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the man whom the Lord will not impute in sin. Thank you very much. So you see, so that's one of the things we enjoy from as our inheritance in Christ. Let's look at Galatians, chapter 3, verse 13.

Another one. Christ has redeemed us from the cause of the Lord being made a curse for us. For it is written, curse is everyone that. Amen.

Thank you very much. So you see, one of our inheritance in Christ is that we receive forgiveness from sin. It brings us peace, joy and assurance to the earth. And this is what makes us righteous before God, right?

So this is one of the primary reasons why we give our life to Christ. When we receive Christ, now we have what, freedom from sin? We're no longer slave to sin. And I'm sure everyone already knows this right Now So not only are we forgiven, but we are actually delivered from sin and its consequences, right?

Christ did it all for us. So this is one of the key primary inheritance that we have in Christ Jesus. Another one is adoption as God's children. That's another inheritance.

Remember, when I say inheritance, I'm talking about your possession, I'm talking about your land. I'm talking about that thing that you have, your portion, right? Adoption as sons of God. Many of us still don't understand that you are a child of God.

Or maybe you don't even understand what it actually means to be a child of God. For example, imagine the President of United States. You got adopted by the President of the United States. So you got adopted into his family, right?

Just picture it, picture it for a moment. Maybe all your life you have been living in one village, right? All of a sudden, they adopted you into the King and the President's family in us, right? When you come there, I'm telling you, it will take you a very long time before you can understand that you're actually a child of this man.

You see his other children and you will not be able to relate with them properly. You will not be able to familiarize yourself with them properly. Because you already used to a lifestyle that a slave mentality. You're already used to poverty, you're already used to sorrow, you're already used to suffering, right?

So when you go to a place where everything is just gold and luxurious, you have a lot of escort, bodyguards. You don't even know how to act because you are confused. So they need to teach you how to live there. It's the same thing that happened to us when we give our life to Christ.

Many of us don't still understand what it means for you to be a child of God. Are you aware that your Father is the owner of this whole universe? The earth is the Lord, the fullness thereof, the world and all that's in it. Daring.

He said, silver and gold belongs to him. Everything on this earth belongs to your Father. This thing has not entered into many people's mind. That's why we still have this beggarly mentality.

We still have this sorrow. We still. We're still confused. We still don't understand how to approach our Father when we need to make your request known.

Some people are still like, we're still confused, begging, you know? Imagine someone has told you everything that is here. You can take it. You don't need to ask me, take it.

But that person is still always going to ask the person Please can I take this one? Please can I do this one? It will get to a point. You find out with me Frustrated.

What kind of person is this? I said take everything. You are still begging me. The person I didn't get irritated.

What kind of person is this? I said everything here is yours. He still comes to me, right? Adoption is ours.

It is an inheritance in Christ Jesus. God became your father and we became his children. And you know the funny thing? Even the angels.

God did not say this thing to any of the angels. It is to us. It is to us that he said, thou art my son. This day have I begotten thee.

We are now brothers and sisters of what? Our big brother, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is your senior brother. Basically.

I don't know if you understand how how glorious this is. But you know what has happened? Satan has made us not to see this picture. So this is why many people are still Like Solomon said something exercises.

He said, I have seen something under the sun that kings are. They are crawling while beggars are riding horses. On this earth it is a taboo. Hope you know that we are kings and priests.

But you see that the way believers are behaving is as though we are not. It is because of the understanding that many have not come into of what this inheritance look like right now. Because we are also children of God. There is also some things that we also need to understand.

One, Discipline is part of our inheritance as children of God. Now this is the part many people don't like hearing. Discipline is part of inheritance as a child of God. Now picture it in the house.

If you are a child of your father, that means you have the right to receive some blessings from your father and also receive some punishment from your father when you would default. Now this is the part people don't like to hear. Like Job said something that was very interesting. Let's look at job, chapter five, verse 17 to 18.

, chapter five, verse 17 to18. Job, chapter five. Behold, happy is the man whom God corrected. Therefore despise not.

Thou mayestact the testimony of the Almighty. For he maketh so and bideth up. He wouldeth and he healeth and his hands make whole. Thank you very much.

So you can see here Job. Job realized something about when your father. Just imagine your father, a loving father. Ah.

He always buys clothes for his child and everything. He does so many things for a child. And the child is always happy. But the time the dad said, oh, don't go to that place.

Have you heard me? Don't Go to that place. My stops are there so that this doesn't break. And he said, okay.

All of a sudden you go there. And he told you that if you go there, the day you go there, I'm going to slope you 10 strokes. And you said, okay, no problem. Yeah, okay.

Suddenly you now went there and you now start plugging. Are you going to say that your father is wicked or is a bad person? I know the funny thing. Some people outside may not have seen that there was an agreement or a covenant or something that you agreed on there.

And when they see from outside, they look as though your father is wicked. The sire is flogging that child. Meanwhile, there was an agreement that you had with your father saying if you go there, this is what's going to happen. I'm going to plug you 10 strokes.

Then suddenly someone that doesn't know anything about the covenant or agreement sees them flogging the child. The outside might now think this person is wicked. That's what's happening today in the world. This what even happened when God was chastening, chastising the whole of Israel.

He said he's going to take them on exile for 70 years and everything. Other kingdoms on the world were looking at Israel and like which kind of. I thought you said your God is the God of this thing. Why suffering like this?

Because Israel, they themselves, they knew that we have sinned against God. And this thing caused problem for one neighboring kingdom, the kingdom of Edom. They saw when God was chastising Israel. God was punishing his children basically because they defaulted, right?

They did a lot of things. So he was trying to correct them and bring them up. Edom saw them, this thing happened to them and. And they were.

They were laughing at them. They were mocking them. They even added extra toward God. Imagine your dad is beating one of your siblings.

You now come. You that is also you that have your own problem. You now come and add pepper. You come also to when they are flogging your child.

Yes, yes, that beating well, beating well. He said, stubborn. You now come and also pull your hand and push his head and slap the child that they are flogging. That means something is wrong with that child.

Imagine what gives you the authority to also follow and chastise the child of your father when you also have your own issues with. With him. This thing caused a serious problem for Edom. And God wiped all of Edom.

He said, you, you see, I was punishing my children and you have the mind to come and join me and punish. Did I Send you message. He wiped the old city out, Edom. And that's how Edom went.

Wiped it out clean. Why am I saying this? Because we live in a time where sometimes when God chastises us, if you don't understand this thing, you will be like them, without hope. Job understood that God's discipline leaded onto something better.

There's something that comes out. It's like refining process. God comes out. Why am I saying this?

Because we are in a time and age where you see that it's as though, as if God is not there. Something is too much. I kid you not. If you know the kind of suffering that's going on in the world now, you sometimes, if you are not careful, if you are not close to the Bible, you think that God has left this world, that God is no longer here.

If you hear what people are saying on the news, they say, you hear some podcast, if God is good, why is this thing happening? If you just go to the other part, it's not here that flood is happening. Go to uk, go to China. I saw France, in France currently, I saw a news 200,000 people.

Have you seen 200,000 people before? 200,000 People were displaced from their home because of fire. This one is what I have to say when people complain, ah, there's flood, it's rain is falling. I said it's not fire that is falling though, is rain.

No, they kill. Imagine it's not fire, Fire. That's what happened. 200,000 People, I think it was two days ago, displaced from their homes.

Have you seen 200,000 people before? So when you see all these things happening in the world, sometimes you try to wonder, some of these people here, they are very chronic believers or they are believers like us, but things are happening. How do you process suffering? When you are going through difficult situation, you know fully whether you have not done anything wrong to God, you have not sinned against God.

How do you process suffering? You know, this is one thing that people don't like to hear, right? And it's important that for you to be a healthy Christian, you must understand how to react when things happen to you. And that's why came to play.

He said something for all things. Now look at, look at what he said. He said all things. Many people don't still believe these things.

When the Bible says all now, all means goodo bad though. Whether it's you that caused it, whether it's not you that cost it, whether you are the one is your fault, whether it's not your fault. All things work together. That means.

Do you know what it means for something to work together? That means this one plus this one plus this one plus this 1, everything is going to work together for your good. To them that love God and are called according to his purpose, what that means is that whether you are the one that caused this thing, whether you are not the one that causing, whether somebody is plotting evil against you, whether it's not God is assuring you that so long as you love me, I will make every of these things work together for your good. So yes, Yes, I think yes.

Around almost 12 o' clock this night, I was reading Bible and I saw one scripture. It hit me like light, like I just saw something. I said, what God, what the enemy makes for evil? God is saying that he's turning around.

Do you believe that what the enemy meant for evil, God is turning it around. So that means even though Satan came to try to want to inflict affliction on you or cause pain on you, on your life, or even if it's even God that allows certain things to happen to you, can you assure yourself and understand that? Look, no matter what happens, I am 100% sure that every of these bad things happen to me is going to turn out for my own good. This is how you process suffering.

If you don't understand this thing, this is why many people have left God. Because they thought that when they give the right to Christ, we're talking about inheritance. Many of us thought that when you give her to Christ, you are not going to experience any bad sin. I'm telling you, I was one of them.

That's why he got frustrated at the time. Because when I heard that, oh, if you give birth to Christ, you have first class, you have good job, you have good wife, you have good family, everything will be smooth. Like you don't have problem, you're going to live long, you're going to do this, do that. Even Jesus Christ died of 33.

Peter, Paul, Apostle, Trump, all see, I'm saying this because we are getting to darker days. I'm not coming here like, I'm just trying to show you what, how you know the scripture is very, very clear and open. It doesn't. The Bible is not biased.

It tells you everything the way it happens. It's not like you only tell you the way part. He'll tell you the good things and the bad things that happen to people and you will not see God in the picture. I'm saying that God can work with your bad situation and your good situation, no matter what, he can orchestrate everything.

At the end of the day, when you look from if you can come out of your body and stand where God is staying and then you be able to appreciate life better. The reason why many people are frustrated with life right now, especially when is because you are looking at things that are here. Do you know why Jesus was able to. Jesus was successful in the ministry is because the Bible says what Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy.

Look, listen carefully. Who for the joy that was set before him. Look, Jesus. This is how Jesus wants us to live.

He wants you to look, try. I don't know how to explain things better. What I'm trying to tell you is a secret that many Christians don't understand. If you want to be able to go through life successfully, you have to understand and accept the fact that even if I suffer, I am 100% sure that this is working direct on my mood.

Some people don't want to understand. You see, when you are a Christian, that is only you. Only. It's only blessing like this.

It's only blessing if anything like bad happen. No, no, no, no, no, no. Let me explain something. Please don't get me wrong.

I'm saying something that Jesus did that helped him succeed in the ministry. Even Paul, even Peter, even the apostles, Jesus was always looking at the joy that was set before him. Brethren, try and fix your gaze on the joy that is set before you. Now let me go to the important part of this teaching that we are trying to establish it.

We're talking about the nature of inheritance. This is one thing that shocked me past. Your inheritance is invisible, but real. Don't you hear what I said?

Your inheritance is invisible, but real. Now you see all this thing that the Bible promises you. The reason why many people are also frustrated with their Christian work especially okay, maybe you are barren and you don't have a child. The reason why people are getting frustrated and tired and this thing is because you don't understand that what God has promised you is something that is invisible but is extremely real.

We're going to look at three people in the scripture that they thought that what God promised them was something that is tangible, like you can touch and hold. Why do you think the Bible said walk by faith and not by sight? Because people were thinking that, oh, when they accept Jesus Christ, oh God, God is not going to give you just see a lot of material things happen in your life. If your life or your faith is Tied to the physical.

You might not last long. I'm sorry to say you might not last long in this Christian world. Let's look at example now. Don't worry, we'll see.

Example of our patriarch of old, Abraham. 3. Let's look at 3 3. to 3, chapter 15.

Reading 1 to 3, Genesis. Yes, chapter 15, verse 1. After these things, the word of the Lord came unto Abraham in a vision saying, get up Abraham, and I am thy shoes, and I exceeding great rewards. And Abraham said, lord God, what wilt thou give me?

Seeing I bore charges and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus. And Abraham said, behold to me, thou hast given me no seed. And Lord, bone in my heart is my head. Thank you very much.

You see what happened there? Abraham did not understand that when God said, bro, I am your exceeding and great reward. Abraham was thinking that when God said this thing, his mind was like, oh, is something physical? Is something here?

Before I even go to Abraham a little bit, let me go to the New Testament. What happened to Jesus Christ and the disciples? Do you know that these disciples were also thinking that when Jesus Christ said the kingdom of God is here, when Joel, who is talking about the kingdom of God, do you know why these people were following Jesus Christ at the beginning phase? They thought that Jesus was going to do something like coup d', etat, where they are going to take over the Roman governor and everything.

They were thinking that all these things that God was going to do was going to be more physical to the point that Peter left all he had and followed Jesus. Because in his mind, if this guy can multiply bread, if this guy can bring this kind of fish, that means God is going to bless you with a lot of things. So it got to a point where Peter was now asking God, Jesus, what is it? What are you going to give us like this?

Because you know, they have been following Jesus every day, but they were not seeing all those money. They will not see bags of money. You know, they were expecting they're going to be rich and like boiling on earth, they'll be flexing. You know, they were expecting cars or whatever it is they were using back then, chariots and maybe a lot of luxurious things on earth.

And God, Jesus was trying to correct their mentality that what I promise you is not, is not as physical as you think. So that's why it was even hard that many people stopped following Jesus at one point. Because when Jesus started telling them the real thing, they said this Is a hard thing. Who can know it?

They stop following him. Many of them stop following Jesus. My question for you is this. What have they told you about following Christ that you are holding on to?

If that thing that you are holding on to or what that. That. I don't know how to put it. If that thing that you are thinking, if it doesn't come physically, can you still hold on to God?

This topic may. May shake you small, but I'm telling you that this journey that we are running. Can you be like Esther? If I perish, I perish.

Can you be like the Hebrew guys? Even if God does not come true for us, we will not bow. The reason for this is because much more than the promised land, God is promising you that I am your portion. You did not hear me?

Well, let me explain something. God was assuring Abraham that look, I am your portion. Let me explain again. Abraham was thinking that God was going to.

You know, when he said, I'll make you father of all nations. Now when you tell somebody, I'll make you a father of one nations by default. Maybe at the age of. Maybe at the age of 30, you should start having like 20 children.

15. Ah, does it not make sense? 15 Children, 30 children already. Okay, you know that okay, this is it.

God is already happening. God is already doing what he said. BY maybe like 50 you should have like 50 children, 100 children. You should have plenty trading already now to show that.

Okay, God said, I'll be fast admission. So it's happening. But guess what? God shocked this guy how 100 years.

This guy. How many children he not so how many? One. In fact, the first one he even gave birth to.

He said, no, that's not your child. When you wanted sacrifice, he said your he said one sacrifice, your only begotten son. He told him that was Isaac. Like that means to show that that one that he had that was not the one.

What am I trying to tell you? Sometimes we are too tied to the things of this physical realm. And when you are too attached to physical things, you may lose sight of God. I'm trying to tell you that your inheritance in God, in Christ is very.

Is actually invisible, but is real. It's not something you can always touch by nature. Things that are invisible are temporal. Or things that are invisible are eternal.

So this inheritance that God promised us, right? Is invisible to the natural eyes. But sometimes. Now this is part people who like neighbor will like.

Sometimes it can be made manifest physically. Sometimes God can promise you something. At times it can manifest physically. At Times it may not manifest physically.

This is the conflict that many Christians are facing today. Let's look at Joseph, for example. I'll still come out to D. Brown. Let's look at Joseph, right?

Genesis 39, 1 4. Here you see what happened. Somebody that doesn't know God, a pagan, saw Joseph and said, joseph is a prosperous man. But let's look at what happened there.

Genesis 39, verse 1 to 4. Genesis chapter 39, verse 1 to 4. We are reading from verse 1 to 4. Genesis chapter 30:9:1 to 4.

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt. And Potiphar and an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guards, an Egypt Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Israelites, which had brought him down. Tyra. Sorry.

Which had brought him. And the Lord was with Joseph and he was a prosperous man. And he was getting out his master, the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

And Joseph found grace in his sight and he served him, and he made him overseer over his house. And all that he had but put into his hand. Thank you. He had put into his hand.

Yeah. So thank you very much. So you see what the Bible called Joseph. Potiphar did not know God, but he saw that God was with Joseph.

Now how do you explain how a slave. Imagine you are in somebody's house and you are a servant, you are always, you are like you are a maid or a maiden or whatever and you are serving in someone house and yet somebody from outside see you and say you are prosperous. Prosperity means that. No, normally prosperity is, you know, that, oh, you know, I'm prosperous if I have a car, if I have a house, if I have many children and I'm looking big and everything, you know, oh, this guy's prosperous.

How do you call a slave in somebody's house prosperous? Just think about it, picture it for a moment the way you are now. Someone said, ah, this guy, you are very rich and he's still a slave. You don't have your own land, yet they called him prosperous.

You see, this is what we need to understand. Joseph was a slave in the house of this Egyptian master. Yet because of the relationship he had with God, the Lord was with him. So even the pagan was able to see that this guy was prosperous man.

Imagine the contradiction. A slave that they removed his clothes, his brothers removed his clothes, they sold him out to an Egyptian. Yet he was still referred to as a prosperous man. Have you seen so more often than not Your physical condition eventually changes to reflect your inner spiritual riches.

But understand this, your inheritance in God is first and essentially spiritual and invisible. That's what I was trying to explain to you. You have to understand that you are rich in Christ. You have to understand that me having only God is enough.

Many people still don't believe this thing. You feel that you need to have God and something. But I'm telling you that it's even better you have only God, full, full of God and nothing than to have 50% of God and riches. This is what people are doing.

You are trying to mix two things together. God is trying to tell you that's what God was trying to explain to Abraham. I am your exceeding great reward. Yes, some people may have land, have this for God said, for you, Abraham, I am receiving great reward.

So I'm saying that a man that possesses God is by default, already prosperous. If you understand this thing,. You will. Not be struggling and competing with people of the world, fighting for this, fighting for that.

You'll be at peace. That's why you see some people, they are outside God, but they are still struggling to have more. You have 1 billion, you are still looking for more money because you can never be satisfied. But once a man have God, I always ask myself, what did Paul eat?

What did they give Paul? What did they give Peter that even when he was suffering? The Bible said, Paul said we should rejoice always, we should rejoice always. He said, even in suffering, rejoice.

How can you actually genuinely rejoice when you are suffering is when you have the knowledge that regardless, I am rich in Christ, though I don't have what I wanted, physically I'm okay. Look at all through this time, God was keeping his inheritance intact for him. So even though he was invisible, he knew the reality of it and he will not exchange it for the pleasure of sin for a season. That even though Joseph now, the reason why Joseph did not even commit wrong with Potiphar's wife is because he also understood this thing.

Again, Joseph understood that he had an inheritance with God and if he defaults, if he falls into sin, that inheritance is going to lose it. So at the end of the day, eventually the inheritance he had in God became physical and he was the prime minister of Egypt, right? But even if it did not happen, because nobody told him that, oh, one day you become a prime minister. But he was already assured he had God and he had everything.

My question for you is, as you are like this, do you have God and are you okay with you having just God. This is the. This is the mentality God is looking for. And these are people that have God full.

They can go far in life. Abraham like, let's go back to Abraham story. Abraham did not understand this thing. I'm saying that time because when God presented his offer to him, he was still asking for visible things.

He was he asking for countable things. He was like, I've not seen it yet. You know, he was still expecting Alpha. I never see this thing because he was thinking God was talking about more physical things as a proof.

He was looking for a proof that God visit him. Some of us are looking for proof that God is with me. So I know what I'm saying. Because even myself at times I used to wonder, is God with me?

Because everything is just normal. Do you know? For example, look at the book of Esther. From Esther 1 to 9, the name God does not mention once.

But guess what? God was in the picture throughout. They did not even mention God name once. Go and read it once.

They don't mention God then. But yet God was in the details. Another example is Esau. Because of this lack of understanding, Esau sold his birthright.

That was his inheritance. Actually, Esau could not see the reality of this invisible inheritance in a hungry situation. I beg you in the name of God, no matter how tough things may be, don't sell your inheritance. You know what Satan is looking for?

Satan loves when a Christian cannot see. He loves it when you are amplifying your problem. You know, Satan just like he will just bring one wahla to you. And you are allowed to focus on the problem to the point that you magnify the problem.

It will not be extremely big. He likes it. When you cannot see the inheritance that you have, you will not focus on the problem. Look at what happened to Esau.

Esau had a problem in front of him. Some of us. Now we have a problem in front of us. And you are focusing on that problem too much.

You have not forgotten your inheritance. That's what happened to him. To the point that he. The Bible says he despised his inheritance.

He despised his birthright. Do you know how many of us were looking at this guy, say, that guy is a fool. Do you know how many times we have behaved like a fool when we what let go of our. For what small food?

Let me tell you what that looks like. For example, in Esau's case, he was hungry. At that point, all mattered to him was God. Give me this thing or I die.

Give me this one or I die. To you now, it may not be porridge to you. It may be one prayer point you are trusting God for, for. But it's as though it's.

It's delaying something can come to compromise that thing and you not settle for less. See, look at what Moses said. And this thing shook me. Look.

God said, they will go to the promised land. As they were joining to the promised land, at one point, God was vexed, angry with them. He said, you know what? You guys can continue going.

My angel will go with you. Look at what Moses said. God, God, if you are not going to go with us personally, don't, don't. Don't take us out of where?

The wilderness. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. Do you know what the wilderness is? That's a place of suffering now.

That's a place of struggle. He said, God, if you know that, for example, now your promised land might be okay. I want something. Maybe you want a car, you want a good job, you want this thing.

And this is where it is. But in this suffering, in this place, you are right now, God is with you 100%. And God has assured you that I'm with you, brother. I'm with you.

But at some point you now feel that, oh, I still want to go here. I still want to go here. Oh, yeah, fine, God, I said, you can go, you can go. My angel will go with you.

Moses said, no, no, God, if you are not going to go with me personally, if you are not going to go with us personally, I rather that we stay here and die, let us die in this wilderness than for you to take us to that promised land. Look, promised land is. There's milk, honey, sugar, everything is there. All you can think of is there.

But the only problem is that God is not there. Do you know that many of us now, we rather prefer to go to the promised land without God than to go with. Than to stay in the wilderness with God. This thing might be hard for some people to take.

But I am saying that can you be satisfied with God's presence alone than having that thing, that prayer point. I always have been praying to God for. You know, that devil can give you that prayer point. Hope, you know.

You see, this is one of the things that Esau had there. He saw Ogados. Give me this food. This is what I want.

He said, give me your bedride and no carry it. All concern me, take it. This is how we say it right now. In this age, Satan comes with one temptation.

Or maybe you have been Praying like, okay, let me give example the one they gave in the led scene. Hannah. Hannah was praying and this guy just said that, ah, you are drunk, you are drunk. Do you know that if Hannah did not understand what she was pressing for, she would have stopped and said, maybe it's true.

Maybe because that person, the man of God, the man of God told her that, are you drunk? Why you. What is happening? Maybe she would have just keep quiet and say, sorry, sorry, I'm sorry.

And should have stopped. Maybe because she was ashamed. Do you know that stylishly she would have showed her all right and she will not get the promise. But she kept on pressing, said, no, I'm not drunk.

Don't tell me I'm drunk. I am. I'm seeking something. And the man of God now said, go in peace.

If she had aborted that mission, that thing that she was seeking for there, she would have missed out from getting someone at that point. Maybe she will come another year because she was coming every year to that place. Every year they try to go to Jerusalem to pray or something. But that year was different.

She cried everything. Some of us devil can just come and whisper one small voice. And you just stop what you are doing. You stop pressing, you stop pressing, you stop seeking God, brother, sister, you have an inheritance.

Even though it's invisible, it is real and it is enveloped and enclosed in God's promises. So what has God promised you? What has God assured you? Can you continue to stick with God even no matter how everything choke?

Everything is so terrible. Maybe 20 years, God forbid. But even if it's long, can you just still stay with God regardless? Because if not, Satan is looking at you and checking your appetite.

It seems that this person wants that prayer point more than God. Some of us, our prayer point is more than God, right? You rather have that prayer point than to have God. If God tell you, no, no, I want you to just come and stay with me.

No, no, no. God, is that what I'm looking for? If you don't give me that thing, no, no, no, I can't. When it's between that thing.

You are seeking God because God said, I am your exceeding reward. Just have me, you have everything. But sometimes you feel like, no, no, no, let me have the job first, then I have God. I feel that let me have God this one, and you get the job.

God is not there. This is where God is. God is here and you get a job and you don't get God, there's problem. But some of us, we rather just take it you have sold your birthright Pray God help us not to miss means this thing.

That's why he said one of the reasons why we fast fasting is not to move God down to come and help. You see, fasting is aligning yourself to God's purpose. That means maybe you came to God. God, I want this thing.

As you keep on pressing in God fasting, praying, praying, praying. Do you know what happens? Eventually God will start aligning down your desire to his own desire and you align to him. So it's not that God will come and shift to you and and come.

No, you are the one that is going to eventually, if you fast genuinely eventually that your prayer point might even shift and change. It is now be like, you know what Lord, your will, not mine. That's what Jesus did. He was praying in the garden of Gethsemane at some point.

His prayer point was like God, if this cup can pass over me. Ah. But eventually yielded no Lord, your will no mind. Tammy's.

Anything you want to do God, just do it. I'm available. Many people are not ready to get to that point. It's scary.

Let me not lie to you. It's scary. But if you can understand that God without anything is enough. I'm telling you, you'll be the happiest man alive.

People will be confused that bro, you don't have to understand how you still going well. And most of the times God sees your heart and honors this man. This one, this one. Even if I give him $20 billion today, he will not leave me because he has now died to those desires of the flesh.

Even if I give him that child today, this one must. You know, some people, some people children have made them reduce their hunger for God. And God is a jealous God. He wants you to seek him.

If I give you that child, if. Are you sure you will seek me like before or now? Your priority will not be on that child. Before maybe you were hungry for God.

All of a sudden the child came. Your mind is ah, I have a child after now your priority is on the child. Everything is on the child. You have left the God that gave you the child.

I don't know if you are getting my point. So much more than God give us. God wants you to. He wants.

He wants to give you himself. Himself to you. If you don't understand this thing, eventually you might this journey, this narrow way path you are working on, you might abort it. This is why many people are no longer seeking God.

That's why it is called what the remnants. Many have gotten the promise. They have gotten bread from God. Look at the 5,000 that Jesus fed.

How many of them were with him after some days? The Bible says that when he started saying some things, many of them left because they came for what bread? You would think they came for Jesus. It's a lie.

You came for what? Just for your prayer points. You did not come to seek God. You came for your prayer point.

If God gives you a prayer point today, I stay with him. This is the concept of inheritance. You sell your birthright when you get your promise. Esau got his porridge and he stopped seeking God.

He stopped. He just what consignment. Guess what? The Bible now said that after he realized this thing, the Bible, he said he sought that thing that he lost with tears and he could not get it.

I'm saying that many people, if you are not careful that prayer point, you might get it. And when you now realize where you have gotten, when you look back and say, kai, I think I've lost something there. And you try to get it back. That's why Bible says, seek the Lord while you will be found.

I'm saying that. Can you sometimes leave your prayer point and go to the point of prayer? There is a point of prayer that is beyond your prayer points. Sometimes when I want to fast, I sometimes just throw away on my agenda.

Just drop it one side, no words. God, I'm just here for you. Just. Yes, you know, I'm saying this because God knows exactly what's in your heart.

He knows what you want. But he's first checking and see is this person wanting me or that thing. And if he gets that thing, he's going to still stay with me. He now checks it and wait.

Ah, no, no, no, no. I love you more. I want you to come to me. And he can be like just a little bit more.

He'll just be delaying that thing. Meanwhile, he just wanted to come to him whole game stay with him. Then that thing I'm looking for, it does come. But no, the priority is the same.

That's. Let me give you. The turning point for Hannah was when she said, no. Lord, I vow that when this child come, I give it to you.

That was the turning point. That's when Hannah finally would surrender to God. She just yielded herself to God. You know what?

God, I love you. I thank you, I accept you. You are my inheritance. That's when the thing just came like.

It's just like magic done. To close. I'll just read the reasons why this knowledge I just brought up now is important. Number one, when you have an understanding that your inheritance is invisible and not real, it changes what you value.

Value. Some of us, if you believe your greatest inheritance is invisible, you will not measure your life by money, status, possession or comfort. Some of us, we are measuring how close you are to God by comfort. When you see that, oh, everything is smooth, you now say, you say, okay, my comfort in life is directly proportional to my closeness to God.

Do you know the devil can deceive you? He can make you so comfortable on this earth. And because you're not, you now think that, oh, because you are comfortable, therefore God is closer to you. And when you are now suffering, you now think God is far.

Why do you think Paul did not think that way when he was in prison? Why did Paul not say, God has left me? This guy was writing letters and telling people, rejoice. Oh, rejoice.

Be excited. Someone that is in prison is still rejoicing. Someone that is outside prison is complaining. How?

Because this guy understood that my inheritance is invisible or is real. So he was comfortable even in prison. That to the point that in the prison cell he was singing praise. No, normally some of us will be like, oh, God, deliver.

This one was singing praise in prison, just singing with his brother. I'm sure they were smiling. All of you saw the earthquake. Bam, open door, they went out.

Normally he would have been praying for breakthrough. God didn't open his door key. My enemy, they were just singing praise. The door opened because they were seeking God, not the result.

What are you seeking? I'm not saying that you should not ask God, for he said, make your request known unto him. But first thing, seek me first. Look for me.

Find me. Find me. Jesus said, store your children in heaven so it changes what you value, number one. Number two, it helps you to endure suffering.

Many of us don't know how to endure suffering. Now, now, I'm not saying that you should like suffering. No, no, no, don't get me wrong. You know something?

Whenever I say, this is always saying I should realize, no, it helps you to endure. The truth is that suffering is inevitable in this world because this world is broken. So whether you do good or bad suffering, just find a way to find you. That's not the truth.

But now the difference between you and an unbeliever, that when something comes an unbeliever, they don't have hope. There's nothing to hope for. So they just go to depression. Or when something hits a believer, the believer is hopeful that God is Using that suffering towards turn, he's going to shift him to a higher level so he's going to be confident.

So when he's inside our suffering, he's excited. He's not that he's happy about the suffering, but there is this kind of inner joy. And people be like, bro, you're going through this thing and you're still okay. What is going on?

Unbeliever that is going through the same thing. His own is in depression. He's like, he doesn't know what to do. But you are hopeful.

You are still praising God. You're still going to church. They are still showing up in the presence of God. They are still praying as if nothing is happening because you know that this thing is invisible, it is working for your good.

But those ones, they don't have that understanding because they have not given their life to Christ. So when you now start behaving like an unbeliever when you are suffering, it shows that you lack understanding. Number three, look at what Paul said. Our present trouble are small and won't last very long.

2Nd because of time, yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them. Whatever problem you are facing can never ever be compared to the glory, can never be compared to the glory. In fact, the glory inside you, your inheritance, outweighs this thing. Imagine you have this understanding that my bank account, what I have in my bank account is more than anything.

I'm facing that. So you'll be 100, you'll be working like you know, imagine you just see a lot now, 1 million. Maybe you were like this before. You just see 1,000,900.

There's no way your body does move. Just you have not touched the money. But the way your body does move, that's how you should be thinking about your inheritance. So when you are suffering like this, when you just remember, ah, my inheritance is invisible and real and it's greater than normal.

Maybe you were crying before, but you just remember, ah, you just be excited. You wake up in the morning, I excited, excited. Why are you happy? Say bro, you know gonna understand.

You explain to somebody. You can't understand you. That means your joy is not based on like, let Nigeria be everywhere be crashing. You are still confident that's how the disciples were moving.

They were killing Christians up and down. They were persecuting them. These people were still excited. They arrest them today.

They said don't preach. They flogged them for this rope. The next day they are going back to preach. What exactly was inside that.

Because they understand. Jesus has primed their head for three years. He has been training them. Bro, understand this thing.

What you have is. Is bigger than anything. So is that's how they train all these boko around people that you see them, they are ready to die. They'll put Bombay.

They have told them that when you get to heaven, you have seven virgin. All these things. So they are ready to die. That's why you see their suicide bomb are wrong and they will blow their shoe.

You see them smiling when they are dying. But Christians are running away. Because you don't understand that what you have in you is greater than whatever. I don't want to know what problem you are facing.

You have to understand that my inheritance is bigger than any problem. This thing will make you so bold that you can come. Whether you will be so confident that if I die now, I'm going to enjoy. So you just be so bold.

You can face any problem. Another thing is that it keeps you from compromising. When you know that your inheritance when. When you know that this inheritance can easily be lost.

When you trade it for all this temporary pleasure. Like small, small compromise, you know, Small. You just gonna lie. When you know it will prevent you from compromising.

You know, wait too. If I do any small thing now, this 1 million is some account can just go. So let me be careful. You sure do not understand that.

That's why he just quickly just sold it for porridge, right? When believers trade their eternal reward for temporary pleasure, they lose sight of what God has prepared. Sorry. Many believers, they trade their eternal reward for temporary pleasure.

Like Potiphar's wife and Joseph. Joseph understood his eternal reward. So that's why he did not trade it for temporary pleasure. So people do this because they lose sight of what God has prepared.

Moses was an example. Look at what Moses did. I'm sorry. For a session in time.

Moses chose to suffer with God's people rather than enjoy the temporary pleasure of sin. Because he was looking ahead of his great reward. Moses was already okay. For God's sake.

Look at Moses. Moses was around 40 years. He was adopted into Pharaoh's kingdom. He was living large.

This guy had money, he had woman, everything he needed. Anything a man could need. Moses had it. You will have been next in command.

But guess what? He literally just threw everything by killing this thing. He threw it away intentionally. And he left all those things.

Why? Because he said he chose to suffer. Imagine somebody wake up in the morning. I feel like suffering.

That's what Moses did. He Just he saw. He saw people suffering. He has been eating large.

He's them suffering. Said, I feel like suffering with them. Let me just go. You just enter, join them.

It will look like foolishness. Now this person is mad. But because he chose to suffer with God's people, he chose to go to wilderness rather than staying in Egypt and eat all these things. Because what he rather enjoy.

Because right, rather than enjoy the temporary pleasure of sin, because he was looking ahead of his great reward. You can find that in his . That is what Moses did. Can you?

Can you? Can you choose to let go of these things and just touch God? It gives you security. It gives you security.

The reason why many people are feeling insecure on this earth. You see your friend have more money than you. You start feeling bad. It's because you lack understanding of inheritance.

That's why you see competition even inside church. You see people striving anger this and that. This one have money, this one have money. You are not feeling bad.

You are feeling maybe you don't have money. You're not living too large. You see another person doing very well. You're not looking at the person feeling that ah, this God is blessing you some more than this.

All this kind of competition is because you don't have understanding of inheritance. You are looking at what you are saying here. Look beyond. This is why one of the greatest prayer to pray is God who pray open my eyes even on this earth.

Let me see this inheritance. I know it's invisible, but Lord, show me a glimpse. Show me a glimpse. Inheritance will disappear through inflation, debt, bad investment, debts.

All these things even sell children. Things can happen on earth. It is not sure. This is this investment on earth is not sure anything.

Look at that 200,000 displays. Imagine somebody who spent all his life building, building wealth. All of a sudden one fire from nowhere. Everything that you have built your own life.

Do you know that person will just quickly commit suicide because he doesn't have understandable inheritance in Christ. He will just commit suicide. All you have been struggling for, you just commit suicide. You everything born.

Maybe you just built a house today. Finally he said yes. Ah, thank you, Jesus. All of a sudden, if that person commits suicide, that means this person lacks understanding of inheritance.

But somebody died this thing. Yes, you might grateful, but you are still assured that ah, this one cannot move me now my inheritance. He that is the image creator. He that is reward.

So. And it strengthens your work by faith. And that's the final thing. It strengthens your work by faith.

You no longer walk by faith, you walk by sight. Even though you have not received physical blessing, you are assured that God promise never fails. You are still assured. You keep moving.

So our prayer for us today is that God will open our eyes. Open my eyes. Oh God. Help me to see who you have called me.

Help me to see who you have called me. Imagine an angel came to Gideon and told him, ah, thou mighty man of valor. An angel. Look at the iron you Gideon, that was a weak person.

Gideon was hiding. Angel just appear down, mighty man of valor. Gideon was confused. He maybe, I'm sure when the angel say goodbye.

Who are you talking to? Is he me? Because you know, he SW now and he was hiding from the media on this thing down, mighty man. He was from the weakest tribe in Israel.

Weakest. And his family was like nothing like something like that. Just present wicked. And the angel just said, mighty man of value.

Because he did not see his inheritance, he was confused. He asked for sign three times. The Bible says the Lord is with you. He has been with you since and he still with you.

The guy was confused. He said, ah, if God is with me, why is this happening? That's another example of somebody. Some of us are saying the same thing.

If God is with me, how am I suffering? If God is your why is this happening? He goes, why this happened? God told him, I am with you.

I've been with you since and I'm still with you. And you're like, why? Why is this not happening? What is going on?

What is all this thing happening? He said, it's because the angel now helped you and said, it's because you people broke your covenant with God. God gave you an agreement. You guys agreed and you broke your part of the covenant.

So therefore he's disciplining you, right? Or he said, because of you, I'm going to use you to deliver. He said, give me three signs. He gave me first sign.

God was mercy. That was mercy of God. Give me first sign, physical sign. That was the second sign.

Is this a third one? But let us not be like Gideon, that you have to wait for physical sign. He said, blessed are those who have not seen, but they believe. Look at this guy, Thomas.

He wanted to touch before he knew that, okay, God is with him. Thomas, you are waiting for heaven to open before you know that God is with you. You are waiting for one prayer point to answer. Can you trust God even when it to comes has not happened.

May the Lord bless this word in our hearts in the name of Jesus. So pray that God open our eyes to see this inheritance that we have in Christ. And we trust God that He will help us to just surrender ourselves to him fully. That whatever Lord wants to do with us, do it.

I'm ready. I am available. Use me and you see how he can remember. Turn your story around.

He remembered Hannah. Do you remember Rachel? But you see, there was something that happened in that process. There was a transformation that took place in Rachel.

There's a transformation that took place in Hannah before that remembrance took place before God remembered them. I pray that Lord open our eyes in Jesus name.
