Heavenly Father, Almighty king of glory. This is the time for us to receive the word. You said the entrance of your word give light and understanding unto the simple Father. Lord, you said you should come believing.

Come right now to your presence. Lord, we ask. Oh Lord, our eyes are open and our ears can hear. Our eyes can see, our ears can hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Oh Father, we pray that you open our hearts in the name of Jesus. Every heart of stone turn to flesh in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray that your word will be sent with power. But the kingdom of God is not in words, but in power.

Oh Father, we pray that release your word with power because your word has the ability to transform. Father, let this world be a transformation. Let it transform. Let it transform us in the name of Jesus.

He said we should not be conformed to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Lord, let the world transform our minds. In the name of Jesus. We thank you Father, because you've heard us.

Blessed be all in the Lord. I vow not to take the glory. Speak, oh Lord, through me, oh Lord, and let your name be glorified in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.

Brethren in Christ, we thank God for the opportunity has given unto us to be in God's presence. Happy New month. Thank God for the first, the first Tuesdays and Tuesday's service of the month. And the Lord has desired to share his promises with us or to remind us of his promises.

Yet I always like to give like how the word came sometimes because it's quite interesting. So yesterday morning during the normal devotion, the world just came right and was one of the Bible reading and. And our focus is Zechariah chapter 8. I was asking God like what's the topic?

And that was it. Zechariah chapter 8. And the topic today is on God's promises for his church. God's promises for his church.

You know, it's important that we keep on reminding ourselves of God's promises. The scripture even emphasizes that, that we should tell of his goodness, we should remind him. Is it something that should constantly remind ourselves of? You know, when he wrote Detroit 28, the Bible made a list of promises, right, about the children.

And he was trying to help us understand that we need to constantly remind ourselves and it should be passed on from generation to generation. God's Word never fails. And Zechariah chapter eight was a very, very interesting one which we'll be looking into. And I want us to understand that these were the very These are the very words of God.

These are the very words of God. It is not man that said it. So we like to start from there. Zechariah, chapter eight.

And I pray as we are reading that the Holy Spirit will help us to continue to have hope, because it's important. And I feel that actually this Zechariah 8 should be the vision of the children of God, should be our own vision. We should. We should embody it as our vision as to what God has said.

This is God's vision for the church. So the topic is the Lord God's promise for his church. For the church. And Zechariah chapter 8 from verse 1, I read.

So I guess I'll be reading different translations so that. Because. So that we understand what I'm saying in context. So the KJV says that verse one, he said, again, the word of the Lord of hosts came to me saying, this was God speaking to Zechariah, saying, thus said the Lord of hosts.

I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy. And I was jealous for her with great fury. Now I want us to be reading in context. Yeah.

So in 2026, what is Zion? Zion represents the body of Christ. Zion is the church of God. So Zion and Jerusalem is synonymous to each other.

So in this case, God is referring. God is talking to us today. You know, God, what is ever true, it is. It's a living word.

It's still active till now. So it is still active till now. So I want us to have this mindset. God is saying something here.

He's telling us something that he was jealous for Zion with great jealousy. He was jealous for this church with great jealousy and. And was jealous for her with great fury. That means.

And the Bible says that God is a jealous God. So he's referring to his love for us, the love for God for. For this church is. God's love for this church is very passionate and strong.

He is consumed with passion for Jerusalem. It's the same way a husband is jealous for his wife, especially when he sees wife, another person. So that's the same way God is jealous for his church. And see what the Lord now says in verse 3.

Thus said the Lord, I am returned unto Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem shall be a city of truth and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, the holy mountain. I want us to take this as the word for this month, right? God is saying here that he's returning to this church, to Mount Zion, and he's going to live in the Church.

God desire to make this church his dwelling place. I don't know how it was been before. I'm sure we all know. But I'm telling you that there is a possibility of having a temple and God manifest presence is not there.

Go and look at Exodus. It happened now. God's presence. God withdrew his presence from the people.

It's not that. No, the Bible says God is a very present help in trouble. God is always with us. God is everywhere.

Right? But there's something called the manifest presence of God. And God withdrew his presence from the people of Israel. And yet he told them that, okay, you guys should go to the promised land, but my presence will not go with you.

You guys should just go, go, go to the promised land. And Moses went to go and intercede for God to God. And God now told Moses, Moses, you know what? My presence will be with you.

Moses still did not want that. He wanted more. He now said, God, if your presence will not go with us. He did not just want the presence of God to be with him alone.

He wanted it to be with the whole people of Israel. And he now contended and interceded again, God, not just me, let your presence go with us. If the brother is not good with us, don't send us out of this place that we are in now to the promised land. Don't.

And continue begging God until God finally accepted to do it. But he gave him conditions for which his presence will come. That's why he now built the tabernacle. And he told them that, oh, if you guys want to worship me, you go there.

But now God is saying something here today. And see, I want us to understand. This is what is for today. It's for now.

Don't be thinking as far. God is saying something now to the church. It's said, hear him that heareth. Hear what the spirit say to joy.

He said, and now the Lord says, I am returning to Lekki branch and I will live in this church. God will make this place his dwelling place. Now that's not all. So he's saying, and I want us to replace Jerusalem with the church.

And this church shall be called a city of truth and a mountain of the Lord of hosts, the holy mountain. I'm saying, see this thing, we were just doing the normal, our normal devotion. But the thing just hit me. I just read.

I just read. I just saw it as Jesus. I just captured an. I now started studying in TR Yesterday I just had to write everything.

I was just saying there. God is saying he's Going to return and dwell within his church. And he's not going. Going to just dwell there.

He's going to make it the city of truth. He's going to make it a mountain of the Lord of hosts. The holy mountains. Do you know what the holy mountain is?

Go and look at Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai was very terrible. People were afraid. And that's what the Lord is saying he's going to do.

The Lord of hosts. Do you know when he said the Lord of Heaven. I want us to picture it. Just when you are reading scripture.

Picture it. The Lord of the Heaven's army. He said that the mountain of the Lord of the Heaven's army will be called the holy mountain. And that's what God is calling this place.

Verse 4. Thus said the Lord of hosts. This is what the Lord of Heaven's army is saying. Once again.

He said, there shall yet old men and old women and dwell in the street of Jerusalem. And every man with his staff in his hand for every. Sometimes KJV is just twisting my tongue. He said, this is what the Lord of hosts is saying.

Once again. Old men and women will walk Jerusalem Street. That's this church. Old men and women will dwell in the church.

Do you know what it means? Just try and picture it. When the Bible says old men and women will dwell in church, it means that you are going to see a lot of people that are going to live long. God is telling us that he is going to take away spirit of death.

People are going to live long. I am telling you that this is true prophecy. This is prophetic. I want you to understand and open your heart.

This is God speaking. He said, if you hear the word of God today, harden not your heart. No. The devil tried to make you think it's for a later future.

It is now. It is now. He's saying something here. Old men and women will dwell in this church.

And this is something that requires us to say Amen. Because God is telling us no longer will you see that. You only see two or three old people. You see a lot of old people because they have grown and they have lived long.

And that's what God is saying. They will once again walk in the. In the church. And that's not all.

And every man with his staff in his hand for very age. Yes. That's not all. Verse 5.

This. This is the interesting part that caught my attention now. He said, and the street of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the street thereof. What does that mean?

Just try and picture what he means, God is trying to tell you that see mortification. There's going to be a lot of what children. Child be. To be what?

In excess, there'll be a lot of child delivery. This is God speaking. I said when I saw this, I was just like, hey, how come I've not seen these things? You see, there's a way you contend with God.

God, this is your word. You said this. Let it come to pass. You see some of the things.

This is the problem we have. We don't pray enough when God says a thing. There are certain things that will not come to pass unless men pray. Why do you think God, Jesus Christ was always praying?

Because he has heard all the things that have been written concerning him. But let me tell you something. There are certain things that God has written about you, about your church, about your life, about your career. If you don't contend in the place of prayer, that will never come to pass.

That's the painful thing. You might die. And you will not see those promises come to pass in your life. And I don't want to be the one that.

Oh, God, they will tell you, ah, God said, you are going to do that, do that, you say, amen, amen, finish. You're not going to sit down. I think it just comes to pass and you just do like this. Men ought to pray and not faint.

When you see the word of God like this, you hold it and you what, tarry with it. Sometimes when they say we should pray for a word, you have received the word. Some people just pray for one day and that is all. Daniel prayed until the answer came.

You are meant to stay until that promise comes to pass. Jesus Christ prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed. Yet he was the Son of God. I was still praying because he wanted the word of God for his life to be manifested.

That's why he prayed in the garden of Jerusalem. He prayed three times the same prayer points. Some of us, we don't have to stay on one prayer. We don't have to hold just one word of God.

Stay with it for one month. One month. Thus, I challenge you carry one God promises in your life. God is your word.

Stay with it for 12 days, 14 days. Don't change your prayer points. Don't stay maybe 30 minutes every day. Just start one prayer point until there's a.

It's either you shift or God moves and do that thing. Why do you think you God was talking about the persistent woman, the woman that kept on Praying. That's why the king was a wicked king. But because this man has been bothering me, let me just answer.

That is the same way God wants us to seek God. He said, if you seek me with all your heart, you will find me. He's a rewarder of those that would diligently, gently seek. There needs to be diligent.

Some of us who are so diligent in our work, you're not diligent with your seeking of God. You just see God five minutes. If you are praying for something, you think that's the problem. We have built this thing.

We think that, oh, if you pray for somebody and the person does not heal, get healed instantly when he pray. So you just stop. That's not the scripture. The scripture.

You pray until something happen. Maybe I pray today and say, it is well in Jesus. You pray for one hour and nothing happen. You go again.

The next one hour pray, you go again, you pray, you go again, you pray. Don't stop. Where do you. Where do we think?

Sometimes we think that, oh, because you pray nothing happened. So you think, oh, nothing happened. Daniel was praying for 21 days. The answer did not come.

And the angel told me the reason why the answer didn't come. Say from the first day he heard you, maybe when you pray for that person, there's something holding the answer from coming. You now stop because ah, you don't see answer to prayer. You now conclude, well, God, it is the will of God that you should not be healed.

Or maybe it's God's will that you should just. You should die in the next few days. So you just sit down and you got to start mourning. Meanwhile there's something holding the prayer from coming.

Why am I saying this? I don't even know why I'm saying this. I'm saying it because this a prophecy. And now sometimes we can say amen, Amen.

But we don't pray through that prophecy to come to pass because there will be the, there will be demons, there will be principalities that are fighting against this thing from coming to pass in your life. In churches. God has said this thing for all the churches in the. The global church is now left for us as local churches to press onto God for this word until it comes to pass.

That is the word of God there. Verse 4. The Old, the old verses. We're going to read you this thing now.

He said verse six is getting more interesting. He said, thus said the Lord of hosts, this is God speaking. If I be marvelous in the eyes of remnant of the people in this day, should he be marvelous in my eyes, said Lord of Host. You can imagine this translation.

See, he said, this is what the Lord of Host says. All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God people, but is it impossible for me? Says a lot of us, that is God speaking. No, see, picture it, picture it, picture it, picture it.

Look at this church. Are we not a remnant? How many are we? Highest.

Highest. Well, I've not passed, I'm not sure about past 100 when we've gathered fully, if I thought, okay, maybe I'm not sure, I pass 100. Does that not sound like a remnant? This is a remnant.

And God is saying, all this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God's people, but God is asking you, is it impossible for me? Says the Lord of Heaven's army, is it impossible for me now? Is it possible for us to have a lot of old people, a lot of so many children and boys and girls running up and down? It looks impossible, right?

It looks impossible that God presence can't dwell in. It looks impossible for a small area. He said we are little. Imagine that other branch that they have many people and they don't have all these things, you know, us, our habits.

You see that? That's what he's saying. Verse 7 is now telling you something again. Thou said the Lord of hosts, behold, I will save my people from the east country and from the west country.

And I'll bring them and they shall join the midst of the church. And they shall be my people. And I'll be thy God in truth and righteousness and natural supreme is saying that what you can be sure that I will rescue my people from the east and the west. I will bring them home again to live safely in this church.

What is he saying? Many people have left the church now. Do you know the painful thing about leaving the church? When you leave the church out of confusion and you go to somewhere that is worse, that's.

That's the painful thing. That's the painful thing. Many people have gone to church, out of the church. Not out of the church, to maybe a grand pastor.

No, they have gone out of the church into the world. They have. They are lost. Some people right now are just jumping churches right now.

They are jumping from. Yet they are trying to find truth. They can't find it, but they rather stay outside there than to stay here. And God is saying something.

You can be sure of this. I will rescue my people from the east, from the west, I will bring them home Again, safely in Jerusalem in where this church, they will be my people and I'll be faithful and just towards them as their God. This God saying, it's telling the generation, he's telling the church that will hold on to this thing. God, this is your word.

Fulfill your word. In my day. Not. No, no, not in the next hundred years, 50 years.

No. That's how some people, I think Arcade mindset. No, in my days. Oh, that.

This guy, John Wesley cried about Scotland. He prayed to God. See, his prayer, a very dangerous prayer. He said, give me Scotland, Lord, or I die.

That was his prayer. Give me Scotland or I die. He prayed that prayer and he got Scotland. Scotland is one of the places where revival broke forth.

In fact, the most largest revival in the world was from Scotland. God is looking for men that will stand to his word. Because why did he. Why was he able to pray that kind of prayer?

Because God has told him, I will give you nations. It's not in scripture. He said, nations will come to you. Nations will come to your distance.

You. I'll give you nations. You'll be the head of nations. Is that not in scripture?

And he knew that. And he held onto it and said, lord, just Scotland. Jesus. God said nations.

Well, he's just asking for one. Just give. That means if this guy asks for Scotland, ask for Wales. Ask for different countries.

God can give you. But the question is, can you tarry? Can you stay? Can you wait?

Can you press on to God until you get that thing? That's the question. Some of us, we don't have stamina in the spirit. That's why we have to learn how to pray.

We have to gain stamina. You see, there are so many things that God wants to bless us with, but you don't have the capacity to receive it. The question is, do we have the capacity to receive this? All of God's promises.

That's why men ought to pray. We have to guard them. We have to build up your most holy faith. Build it up so that you can trust God for big things.

Do you know how big this is? When God is saying, I'll bring. Your heart is not even big enough. In fact, you don't even believe that God can make everybody in these streets to come into this church.

But see what God is saying? God is saying you bring from east and west to the church, but you don't believe that, ah, this neighbor here can start coming to this church and become a member of this church. May the Lord help us. Verse 10 for before.

Okay, now verse 9. Is getting more interesting. This is what thou said, the Lord of hosts again. Let your hands be strong.

Ye that hear. Ye that what hear. I am in these days this word by the mouth of the prophets which were in the day that the foundation of this house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built. Does this not sound like exactly where we currently are?

See God what God is. See, he said believe in God. Believe also in the prophet. Believe in his prophecies.

Believe. Some of us will despise prophecy in a true. Don't despise prophecy. This is the Lord of.

This is what God is saying. Be strong and finish his tasks. And our translation. Ever since the lane of the foundation of this church of God, you have heard what the prophet had been saying about completing the building.

That's another translation. You have heard what they have been saying about completing this building. And God is telling us this month be strong and finish the task now. Building the church does not.

It's not. It's not only solely on building the structure. There are many things. Can you see how God is just aligning things this year maintenance continue and so many other things are happening.

See, when we're talking about the word of God, let's be very practical. Stop talking about something as if it's far. It is now. He's talking about now.

Try and bring it to the present. We always. Sometimes we talk about God like God of the ages past. The God of yesterday is the God of today is the God of now.

God is still the same. He's saying what you be strong. Finish the task. Finish the tax.

Finish the tax. That is what he's saying. Ever since the foundation of this sin have been laid, you have heard what the prophet is saying about completing this building. God desired that you complete this task.

What is the task God has given you inside this church? Complete it. Complete it. This word is for every member.

It's telling you. I wish many can hear this. This is for everyone to hear. Nobody should be left behind.

He said, be strong. Finish the task. Finish the task. Verse 10.

He said before the work of the temple began. Let me read. He said, for before these days there was no higher for man, no higher for any peace. Neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction.

For I set all men, everyone against his neighbor. That was true. That was true. Before the work of temple began.

There was no job or there was no money. There was no job, there was no money, no people, no animal, no traveler was Safe from the enemy. For there was enemy on all side. I have turned everyone against each other.

That is true. Before this thing began, there was a lot of conflicts. There was a lot of division. And sometimes God is even saying, I was the one that did it.

I had turned everyone against each other. There's a time where people were just. Everyone just fighting against that there was conflicts. But now God is telling us something.

Now finish the task. Verse 11. Now say, but now. Can we say but what now, not tomorrow.

You see, this is the problem about Christ, Christians and their faith. You know, whenever they hear the story of Abraham. Abraham waited how many years? What do you think?

Let's be frank. Do you actually think that it's not possible for God to have done that thing for Abraham when he said, I'll give you a child? Do you think it was necessary for God to wait for that number of years? Let me give you example.

For example, Abraham went to go and pray for Abimelech that the womb be opened. And all of them started believing children. Abraham for how many years? And that was the only time you hear that Abraham prayed concerning the prophecy.

God has always spoken to me that you're going to be a child. I don't see any scripture where Abraham prayed through that thing. But he believed, though. But my question is, if Abraham had prayed fervently and trust God on that word.

I said, you're going to be a father of nations. Like the way he prayed for Abimelenek and the whole distance. Do you think that child will have come any sooner? I don't know.

I don't know. That's just a question mark. But I'm saying that there are certain prophecies that just because God has said something does not mean to come to pass on his own. It requires partnership.

God desires us to partner with him. He said, thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on what earth as it is in heaven. He has spoken it. But God needs us.

God needs legislators. He needs priests. To what, enforce the will of God? You must bring it down.

You must. You must be able to pray through prophecies to pass in your time. This is the power of prayer. But now he's saying something.

Verse 11. Verse 11. Now say, but now again. But now I will not.

Okay. But now I will not be a. I will not be onto the residue of these people. I, as in the former days, said the Lord. KJV he said, but now I will not treat the remnants of my people as I treated them before.

Says who? The Lord of Hosts God is telling us that he's no longer going to treat us the way he was treating us before. This is an assurance, brethren, this is an assurance. He's not going to treat us the way he treated us before.

Verse 12. For the seed shall be prosperous. The vine shall give our fruit, the ground shall give our increase. And the heavens shall give their dues.

And I will cause the remnant of these people to possess what all these things. Brethren, believe the Word. Do you believe in God? Believe also in the prophet.

Believe in Jesus. Believe in the Word. Jesus is the word of God. Believe in Jesus Christ.

Believe. Thank God, he said, come believing. Come, come believing. Come, come believing.

Come believe. And the way you believe is by what? Praying it through, acting it out, Going forward with audacity. Going forward in faith, moving in faith, taking the bold step.

Make, take action. Finish the task. He said, for planting seed of peace and prosperity among you. That's a natural session.

Yes. He said, the grapevine will be heavy with fruits. The earth will produce his crop. Heaven will release the dews once more.

He will cause the remnants in Judah and Israel to inherit these blessings. God is telling us going to open doors for us. He's going to open our businesses. Remember, there's a condition.

The reason why he's opening all of these things is so that we can what, finish the task. Now that's where the problem is. Now some people go to open doors and everything. People start leaving living church say, ah, their schedule is now become busier.

The question is when God blesses you. We used to be able to come on Tuesday. We used to be able to come on Saturday. We used to be come on Sunday.

All we now say is work. We used to say it's work. That means you have started serving mammon. No longer God.

Mammon is not necessary money. Mammon are systems that have been set in place to replace God. The Lord grant understanding. Verse 13.

And it shall come to pass that as ye were caused among the hidden. O house of Judah. This is one is very, very interesting. My God, he said, listen careful.

And shall come to pass that as ye were a cause among the hidden. Oh house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you. And ye shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hand be strong.

Do you know what he's trying to say? I wrote it down in my. In my book. This one was very prophetic.

He said, this church, this is where the Holy Spirit made it. Me understand this church. I want to put in context this church used to be used. No, this Church was previously used as a way to.

As a reference to describe how bad a place could be. But now God is saying that this church will be used as a reference to describe how blessed a place will be or can be. Imagine they want to describe something that is good. They use you as.

As a reference. I say some just new way. People say, can't you be as. Can't you be as good as that brother?

Can't you. Can't you just dress like him? Can't you look like him? Do you know what that means?

You are using that person now as a reference point for other people. God is saying that this church will be a reference to what blessing of God can look like to the world. Are you getting this? Among the other nation.

Not translation. Among the other nation. Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. It was a symbol, of course before now, right?

Or symbol, maybe symbol of poverty or. Or maybe whatever thing or small number or smallness. But now God is saying, no longer. Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing.

That means if people are looking for blessing, come here, come, come, just come, come. You get blessed. If people are looking for how to describe or explain how big a place can be, they'll use this place as a reference point. That's what God is saying.

But he's saying what? Don't be afraid, be strong and what? Building, Keep building. That's what he's saying there.

He said don't let. He said fear not, but let your hand be what? Be strong. That means keep building.

Keep building. Continue doing that thing you are doing. Get on with building the temple. Don't stop.

Keep building. Keep building. Keep building. You know, Satan just want us to get focused on him.

He wants you to focus on him. Focus attention on him. Focus on casting, binding and binding and binding and rebuking him. Focus on the debts, focus on the problem.

Focus on the challenges. Forget the building. Focus on burying people. Focus on doing all of those things.

Leave the building, focus on that one and you see. And we can spend a whole year focusing on lamenting, focusing on all the challenges in the country and forget. Keep building. I'm saying again, building doesn't only represent or mean what?

Oh, physical structure. Sometimes we can focus so much on that and leave the things that matters most. Love, showing kindness, building the minds of people, renewing the mind, speaking the word, preaching the gospel, Reaching out to people, reaching out to lost souls. Keep building the temple.

Verse 14. For thou says the Lord of hosts. As I thought to punish you when your fathers provoked me to rot? Yes.

There was a time God punished us because we are his children. A father can punish his child is right. It's legally right. Right.

I thought to punish you when your fathers provoked me to rot. There's a time that our fathers provoked God to wrath, said the Lord of hosts. And I repented. Not truly.

When you provoke God, sometimes he will not repent. You do what he said he's going to do. It's said, I'm going to punish you. He told Israel that none of you that came out of Egypt will enter this promised land.

You're all going to die in this wilderness, including Moses. Only Caleb and Joshua. All of them died. And what am I saying?

God was faithful. He said, I'm going to do this. And he did it. He's now telling you that.

So again, verse 15. Have I thought in these days, when I say, this is. I'm talking about today. I'm talking of this week.

I'm talking of this month. I'm talking of 20, 26. I'm talking of now to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Fear you not, he said the same way.

I said, I'm going to punish you. And I did it the same way. Now I'm saying that I'm going to bless you and I'm going to what? Do it.

My God. He said, I am determined to now bless Jerusalem and the people of Judah. So don't be afraid. And I see the emphasis, don't be afraid.

Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. Don't be what?

Afraid. The opposite of faith is fear. God is begging. He's telling you, brother, don't be afraid.

Sister, don't be afraid. Wake up. Don't be afraid. Do it.

Just do it. Do it. Do it. Now.

Verse 16. These are the things that ye shall do. Now, this is not the condition now. This is the part.

No. When you receive prophets, people hear prophecies. Amen. Amen.

If it's all those other churches, amen. Amen. I receive.
