Brother in Christ. We thank God for what the Lord is doing in our lives and thank God for this Tuesday service another time set aside for us to be here. I do not take this opportunity for granted to share God's words with other like minded believers. I pray that God will continue to use this word to empower us and prune us and strengthen us.

The last verse of the hymn we just sang, God's promise is True, said eternal life begun below now fills my heart and soul. It's very important and is in connection with what was preached this Sunday. Eternal life starts now. The day you receive Christ, you receive eternal life.

It's not until you get to Heavens you start experiencing eternal life. I'm already living experiencing eternal life because Jesus Christ Bible says Jesus Christ is eternal life. And because Jesus Christ is in you, you have eternal life. So eternal life starts now, now on this earth.

So we must be able to understand this and this will help us to live a glorified life even right here on earth. That's what Jesus was always trying to explain to this to the disciples. So I just saw that I thought I should mention that before we go forward. Last week we talked about handling opposition and we thank God for how he led us to understand how the people in the days of old handled oppositions when they were rebuilding the lost temple and even when Nehemiah was also building the wall, there were a lot of positions and we saw how God empowered them.

Today the Lord wants to help us to understand what we are still doing on earth before he he comes back. What is the tax at hand? And the title of the topic is the King's Business. The King's Business and why is this topic necessary?

I believe that if you check from January till now if you are faithful in studying and reading through all the sermons. That's why we have the app is you're encouraged to always check it out to you can just do a study or a map. Try and connect all the dots from join to now you see that there's a message that God is passing. You hope you know that you're in the school.

This is also a school. You are learning about Christ. There's a curriculum that you need to cover right? To help you effectively run your run the King's business, right?

So we are focusing on a particular parable that Jesus used to explain the Father's business, right? We trust the Holy Spirit to help us here because there are different facet and different areas when it comes to talking about the King's business. Different ways to talk about it. But this was the one that HP led me to talk about and which is from the parable of the 10 servants.

Right? Different translations. Was a parable of the pounds. Someone said parable of the 10 Minas and all.

Now, take note, this parable we're talking about is different from the parable of the ten Talents. You take note. There are two parables that Jesus spoke about that were looking similar. Right.

I just got to discover that that one is totally different from this one. But the emphasis right there is parable of the talents talked about in Matthew 25. This one we're talking about is Parable of the Ten Servants, which is found in Luke 19, verse 11 to 27, which we'll be looking at briefly. Right.

So we see that when we read scripture, and many of us always think they are the same thing because we have never sat down to study. So the Bible says, study to show yourself approve unto God. I, myself included, I did not know until I took a study on it. So let's look at where our text is coming from.

But before that, one of the kings that Jesus said was that we should seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Take note of the Word and kingdom of God and His righteousness. Just the way you say, go to the church and bring me. You can tell somebody, give someone instruction.

I want you to go to the church and bring the book for me. That word and implies that there are two instructions that should be done together. Not all. It's not about go to the church.

Or it is go to church and so seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Which shows that there is a clear distinction between what it means to seek the kingdom of God and what it means to seek his righteousness. That means it's possible that I can seek the kingdom of God. I may not seek his righteousness, or I can seek just his righteousness and not the kingdom of God.

There's a clear distinction between those two. The Bible says that Jesus is the righteousness of God. So when you seek the righteousness, what you are seeking is a transformation of your character. When you are seeking righteousness of God, you are seeking Jesus.

And the more you keep seeking Jesus, the goal is what? You become more like Jesus. You become transformed. Now, there are a certain number of people that they seek the righteousness of God.

They become like Jesus. They are just seeking his character. They are trying to be like Jesus. But the problem also is that they are not seeking the kingdom of God.

There are two separate Things. Some seek the kingdom of God but they are not seeking righteousness. What does it mean to seek God's kingdom? It means to participate in the activities of God's kingdom.

It means to contribute to the welfare of God's kingdom. Right? And when I'm saying kingdom, it's not always necessarily like oh, like the Heavens, Heaven. Heaven in quotes.

Kingdom just reflects like the influence of a territory on a place. That's the way we have Britain, uk, United Kingdom still has an effect on Nigeria because they colonized us. That's why we are dressing, wearing suit and tie if not for them. That's why we're speaking English, right?

Look at our English. We use Z. Is it Z or S? I think we use S when we want to say organize.

We need to spell these kings. Sometimes we are confused because US and UK has influenced us a lot. So you see that the, the influence of those kingdoms is, can be felt here. That's why you see many people are listening to the music of United US and uk.

They even like those country music more than our own music because the influence of that kingdom has rubbed off on us. So that's what it means when it's a Sikh kingdom. So you are trying to advance a kingdom, push the agenda of that kingdom. And when you push agenda of the kingdom to a place, that place behaves like that kingdom.

So what are those kings you do to ensure that you are advancing the kingdom of God on earth? Right. Places that need to be occupied, there are territories that need to be taken over for Jesus. What are you doing to advance and make Jesus known, to make the tradition and the way Heavens looks like?

How do you bring Heavens to earth? How do you bring the culture of Heavens? Like in Heavens? The Bible says the first Avila, like in Heavens.

They said the leader should be at the back. So how do you bring those kingdom principles to earth? The Bible in Heaven they said, give us never luck. Give and shall give unto you in Heavens.

There's generosity, there's kindness. So how do you put that lifestyle on earth and allow people to live like that? That's what it means basically to bring the kingdom. How do you let people know about how to live on earth?

That's what it means basically to bring and seek the kingdom of God actively. But let's look at what Jesus talked about this in Luke chapter 19, verse 11, right? We're focusing on the parable of the 10 Minas. You can say 10 servants, right?

Luke 9, 19, Luke 19, verse 11. Look at what you said. And this. And as they Heard these kings.

He added and spake a parable because he was nine to Jerusalem. Look, now I always try to help understand when you read the scripture, try to understand why did Jesus say this, when did he say it? What was happening at that instant? Who was he talking to, on what occasion?

What was the surrounding circumstance? What was the circumstance surrounding him at that time when he was talking? Because that influences what Jesus is about to say and what you're about to hear. He was, he said the reason why he spoke this parable was because he was close to Jerusalem at the time we were speaking.

I went to check the back history and the background story. It was around, it was at Jericho area and he was walking with the crowd and disciples and they were heading towards Jerusalem and see what he said. He now spoke a parable to them as he was about to go to Jerusalem. And because.

So the two reasons why he said this parable was two, look at what he said. Because number one, he was close to Jerusalem. And. And because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

So that means this parable that I want to hear now is a response to what they were thinking. So you see, Jesus uses story to explain some concept or misconception about him. So there is a misconception that they had in their mind. So you ask yourself, am I also having this misconception?

So that you will be sure whether you are still okay or you are very derailed. That's why I said the parable. Now what were they thinking? That's another thing.

Now let me give you a little backstory. At that time, there was a king. King Herod had died. So there was another.

And King Herod died. He was not ruling the Jews and this thing at that time, right? So he died there. Another king wanted to come into power, right?

So that king went to Rome to seek request for him to be crowned king, then come back to rule the Jews. But there were certain Jews that did not want that king to rule. And they were fighting against his like politics. Now just like now some people don't want this next president to come into power and all.

So they didn't want him to be crowned king, so they opposed him and everything. So that was one reason why Jesus now gave this story. Now you see how the story connects with he wanted to receive the kingdom of the Jews, basically. And they did not want him to do it.

So they were thinking that Jesus is going to, as he was going to Jerusalem, he was going to come become. He wants to crowned himself king. Their mind was that St. George the Messiah? He should become the king on earth.

You see why you need to know your books for yourself. Else people will go and crowned you king when God has called you to be something else before your time. They nearly crowned Jesus king on this earth. And meanwhile, Jesus kingdom was not of this one, was another kingdom, in fact a far greater kingdom.

If he did not understand the book as written about him, this guy would have. Jesus would have gone to Jerusalem, they would have crowned the king. See, they were celebrating hosanna. Hosanna.

They wanted to crowned the king, but he said, no, no, no, no, this is not why I came. He came to die. He would have done collect crowned and now be living on earth if he did not understand his purpose. But great to go.

So that's what they were thinking, that as he was going Jerusalem, it's going to become the kingdom of God, will be established there and everything. You know, they were imagining so many kings that, ah, finally freedom has come. Because they were in serious bondage by the Roman Empire and they thought Jesus would be the one who now raise an army. And because the way they were reading, they were thinking is going to be physical battle and it will kill all the Rome Roman Empire and everything and they will take over.

But that was not what Jesus. So Jesus tried to correct them. Look what I said, verse 12. He now said therefore.

So when you hear the word therefore, it means because of all those thoughts. This was what now explained to them a certain nobleman. Now take note of all the characters that I'll be mentioning this thing. And you see who they represent.

A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and towards return. Now what does that sound like? Jesus is talking about himself? Jesus is the nobleman.

Jesus said he was going to die and he went to resurrect again. Then when he resurrected, he went to Heavens, received the kingdom. He said, it's coming again. He went to receive a kingdom.

The Bible says, look not to Jesus, the altar and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him, despite the cross, endured these kings. Now he sat down at the right hand throne of God, right? So there was a joy that was set before him, right? So he did all those kings and he received the kingdom.

He got a name greater than every other name. And he's still going to what? Return? So he said.

So Jesus is trying to explain that he went. He's going. He went to Heavens to receive for himself a kingdom. And he has gone to Heavens currently, right, to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.

Take note. To receive for himself a kingdom and to return. Now look at what he now did. Now when he left, he said he's going to come back.

But look at what he went for. He went towards receive a kingdom. Take Note. Now, verse 13.

And he called his what 10 servants. He called his 10 servants. Take note. He said his own 10 servants and delivered them 10 pounds.

So KJV said 10 pounds. And that translation said 10 minutes. And I want to say this now. Take notes.

Look at what he said. Look, look. Now this is part many people like did not really get right. Take note.

Jesus is saying There were 10 servants and there were £10. Each of them received equal amount of business. So 10 divided by 10, one. Each of them received £1.

Now, God try to what we think, because when you hear of the five talents, it was a different scenario. Jesus was explaining a different thing there. This one is a different thing. In the five talents, some were giving five, some were giving three, some were giving one.

In this one, all of them were giving equal amounts. One, one, one. There were 10 people and he gave it to them. You take one, take one, take one.

He said he delivered them 10 pounds and said to them, occupy till I come. Now this word occupied till I come. If you read in different translations, another one says, do business till I come. See?

Another one said, see what you can earn with this while I am gone. And I said, invest this for me while I am gone. Did you see that? And I said, operate with this until I return.

And I said, put this money to work. He said, until I come back. All of this just tells you that. What?

Occupy till I come. Use what I have given you till I come. That is what is telling us to do here. Now look at, look at another set of people.

Now, I'm talking about the nobleman. We're talking about the ten, the ten servants. Now look at a test of people. The third set of people now says verse 14.

But now take note, there is ten talents and they are also citizens. But his citizens hated him. His citizens. Now, the servants are different from the citizens.

The citizens hated him and sent a message after him saying, we will not have this man to reign over us. Do you see how Jesus was connecting what was happening physically at that time with his parable? Trying to tell his story? Right, you see there, I told you that somebody wanted to go and collect crowned so that he will rule over this thing.

And some people were like, no, we don't want this man to rule over us, right? Now it's the same thing that is happening here. The citizens hated him and said, we'll not this man reign over us. Now who are those citizens?

At the time of Jesus, there were certain people that did not want Jesus to become king. That's why they killed Jesus, because they said, he claims to be the king of the Jews. So Jesus was using a story to just sugarcoat what was actually happening. Those that understood knew, ah, this guy is targeting me.

I see what he's doing. So the citizens were representing the Jewish leaders, the Pharisees, the synagogue leaders, and the scribes, all those ones that were opposing. He hated Jesus Christ like people like Paul, as at that time, or who was Saul, hated what Jesus was doing, right? Saying, we will not have this man to reign over us.

And it came to pass that when he was returned, now he has finally come back, having received the kingdom. Then he commanded this servant to be called unto him to whom he had given the money. Now take note. Look at what I said.

He said, when he was returned, he has already received the kingdom. Now he came back, but now he has received the kingdom. Take note. Then look at what he did.

He commanded the servants. Remember, they were 10. That means the 10 servants represent those that have accepted Jesus Christ. By implication, every believer is automatically a servant of Christ.

Once you receive Christ, that's what Jesus said. Once you receive Christ, you are not just. Jesus did not just save you for you to live for yourself. He saved you to live for his own purpose.

You are now a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. My question for us is, are you living as a servant of Christ? Or you receive Christ so that you receive forgiveness of sin and start continuing your own life? You just continue doing what you are doing.

You are living for your belly. You are a servant. And a servant is someone that does what the master said. You, you don't have your own say.

You, I can't pay. I can't hire a servant in my house. And the servant is saying anything. I'll do what I want anyhow.

The master calls you, like, oh, later, Jerry. You're just doing your own thing. No, it's not possible. That day you'll be you.

You'll be thrown. You'll be thrown out of the house. See, look at what he did. He said, then he commanded his servant to come unto him.

And does that not sound like what will happen on the Rapture? Like, there will be a call and all of us be raptured. All the saints, he commanded them to be called unto him, so they Came to him like. It's not what he said that it will be like twinkle of eye.

They will be. Will be lifted up and to meet with Christ, right? Look how he said that. He commanded them that the servant be called unto him to whom he had what giving the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

So that means those 10 servants that accepted Christ before, right? When Jesus left, apparently they remained as believers. It's not that they became unbelievers. Take note.

So they made Heavens. In summary, what he's saying is that those 10 people, those 10 servants, they meet Heavens. Take notes. Let's go.

Now look at what's happened now. That he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Look. Look at what the master was interested in.

He was interested in. Okay, finally I've come back. Oh yeah, let's check. How much did you make?

How much did you make? How much did you make? This is exactly what people don't understand, that you make Heavens know do it to God. But look at what, look at, look at the main interest here.

He wants to know how much did you gain by trading? You have received Christ. Maybe you received Christ at the age of 16. You stay till maybe someone passed away by age of 95.

When you get there, the question is. Okay, let's check. How much did you make? You enter.

Look, look now. He commanded his servant to be called to him. Now look at this. Then came the first saying, Lord, thy pound has gained ten pounds.

And he said unto him, well done, thou good servant. Now look at the reason why he called him a good servant. Because thou hast been faithful in very little have thou authorities over 10 cities. Take note.

He did not give him more money. Remember? You see that there's a difference between Jonah's story and this one. This one gave him Authority over what?

10 Cities. He gave him a pound and he multiplied it to get what? 10 Pounds. Take note, it was one pound that he multiplied to 10 pounds.

It was not that I gave him 10. I multiplied to 10 again. Contrary to what you saw in five talents. It was five talents.

He multiply added more. Five talents, that was three. Multiplied it something like that was like. It was different.

Reason was 1 became 10. Take notes now. Well, because I'm in page marriage, you have that authority over tensity. So you see that what was given to him was translated to what?

More responsibility. It was not like, oh, they gave you 10k. You want you made maybe, maybe they gave you 1,000 and you made 10,000. Error.

They now gave you more money? No, they did not give you more money. They gave him what responsibility? Responsibility over what?

Ten cities. I get you somewhere now. And the second came saying, Lord, thy pounds have gained five pounds. And he said likewise, be thou also over five cities.

Now what are we seeing here? You find out that. Why is it that one person, every believer is given the same opportunity to serve Christ? This is what we need to understand.

They will give me the same. You receive the same gospel of Jesus Christ that Jesus is Lord, he died for you. And this thing rose again and, and listen, they gave me. They gave you two.

They gave you two. The same measure of the Holy Spirit. Like the same Holy Spirit that Paul received is the same Holy Spirit I received is the same Holy Spirit that everybody received is the same spirit of God, Spirit of Jesus Christ that is in everyone. Even the prostitute that give her life to Christ today.

The same spirit of Christ that is in me, the same spirit of God that will be in her. But you see, like what happened there. Why is it that one person didn't produce 10, another person produce five? Faithfulness, you see, this thing is a very important thing.

You choose how much you want to yield. You see, is in your hand though, is in your. Your reward. Everything is in your hand like this.

That's why. So when, when you hear people, you see somebody when the way they are doing kings of God, you see, that one is not doing too much. He knows what he's doing. That's his own business.

You need somebody else. He has finished laboring. You just sleep small. You continue laboring, you'll be wondering why Jesus has paid it all.

What are you still doing? This one has sense. That was, I'm sure when that one that they gave everybody, one, one, one. But this one was just walking, walking.

So he got 10. This one was like looking around, walking. He got five, I got. I mean, maybe techno.

There were 10, but the story only focuses on those three. It doesn't mean that the other ones do not give something, they did something, but they just use those three as case study to just explain the point. Jesus uses three as case study, right? So that tells us something.

That's why we need towards have capacity. You must build capacity to carry more, to do more for God. This is why you have to study. So that guy that got 10, it's not that he has forehead, but he was, he put him on work.

That's what Paul said that. Do you know how Paul was? Paul came after years after the disciples had already started. But Bible said That Paul said, I have done more than all the 12 disciples combined.

Imagine Paul received the same Holy Spirit that Peter and all of them received. But. But Paul now told them that, look, I'm not boasting, but the truth is that I have actually done even more. He wrote it now.

He wrote it in one letter. I have done more than all these disciples combined. Another time he said, I speak in tongues more than the old church. He said, even though I speak in tongues more than you all, but I have no love.

He was trying to tell. So he made a point that look, I do this thing more than all of you combined. Paul understood something about laboring for for the gospel. So Paul will prolly be like somebody that they gave him one.

He got 10 Peter too. They gave him something. He got something. All of them.

He got something. My question is, what will you do with the Holy Ghost? Everybody have received the Holy Spirit. Everybody.

Yeah. Born again. I'm born again. I'll give marriage Christ.

What are you doing with the Holy Ghost? We pray for power. We ask oh God for this grace, this. What are you doing with what he has given you?

That's that Holy Ghost that Paul used thy shadow was doing kings. What am I doing with it? Is it just for like. Is it for?

Is it for? What are we doing with this precious gift? The Bible says that there is a treasure in our et vessel. There's a treasure in our earthen vessel.

What are you doing with that treasure? It is the first Corinthians that said that we have a treasure in this earthen vessel. Are you seeing the connection? Pound is not a form of treasure.

Yes, he said gave it to them pounds. So the same thing. Give you the Holy Spirit. Give you Holy Spirit.

Give Holy Spirit. It's your job. It's my job to stare up the Holy Spirit so that I can yield forth a lot of fruit. That's why I said don't be drunk in wine, but be filled.

And the more you get filled, you go out and you launch in your business in everywhere. Take note, it's not everybody that will stand on pulpit to preach. You don't need a pulpit to do to gain for Christ to occupy till you come. Your office is a pulpit.

Your house is a pulpit. Your school is a puppet, your class is a puppet. Your group chat is a pulpit. In fact, your status WhatsApp Status is a pulpit.

If not a bigger pulpit than even the church because you can reach a lot of people. So I will show you another thing on the question now is how do we participate in God's kingdom because God is looking for active participants in his kingdom. But we'll get there. So let me just read the story.

Finish. And the second came saying, Lord, thy father gained five pounds. And he said unto me, be thou also. Over five cities another came saying, lord, behold, cur thy bound.

See, he received the Holy Spirit. He said, lord Jesus, I said to Father and forever come into my life in Jesus name. Amen. Guess what?

He received the Holy Spirit. He's born again. He's saved. Now look at what he's doing.

Throughout till Jesus comes again, he made sure he did not see. No, take note. He did not lose the pound. See this I want you to understand.

He did not. That means he did not lose the presence of God in him. He did not lose what he carried. But look at the problem which I kept laid up in a napkin.

He received this very spirit of God. The Bible says the same spirit that raised us from the dead will kick you on motorboat. That same spirit of God. The Bible says that.

And God baptized Jesus, Holy Ghost and power. And he went about doing great kings. That same spirit that Jesus received to do great kings. This one collected and kept it inside me, myself and I. I'm sure he will always be praying.

He's always fasting, maybe reading Bible, doing all those kings. But the problem was that. Look, sir, here's your found. Look back.

Not. Not one. Not even one. One sin.

One. One at least would have done like maybe 1.1 pounds at least. Is it that Jesus was not really interested in? Oh, you did 10.

Oh, well done. Is the same that was not just bring something. Look at what he said now. For I fear.

Look at the reason he said. For I. The reason why I did not. The reason why he did not use what the Holy Ghost in him was that for I feared thee because that one an austere man thou takest up that thou layest not down and repairs that thou did not sow.

And look what he said. And he said unto him out of thy own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servants. Look how he called him. You see that it's not just about receive Christ, go to Heavens.

He called this guy wicked person. You are wicked servants. I was. I had to ask myself what what is.

I asked myself a question when I read this thing because he. So it's not. Is it about. You see, so just.

It was. It was a deep thing. He called me wicked servants. No, take note.

I remember I told you there is servants and a citizen. You see now the citizen they hated. God hated the nobleman from the beginning. The servant did not hate the nobleman.

But the problem was that did not just this particular one did not just feel that it was necessary to do something. Look at what Jesus told you in church in Laodicea. Roman Revelation, chapter three. He said.

I know there was that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were hot. I wish you were cold or something. But because I lukewarm and spiritual.

That lukewarmness is what this guy was doing. Lukewarm. Not participating in the kingdom of God. Not participating.

Guess what? He was seeking the righteousness of God. He was probably a good person. He was maybe holy.

And this thing holy, you know, this kind of holy. This thing. He not sin. No, he's not coming out.

He not come fornication. He not fornicate. He not. You go to church every day.

But he was just look at it. See. He said, you wicked servants. So you knew that I was a most.

So you. You know that I was an Austin man. Taking up that laid not down that. That I laid not down.

And reaping that I did not sow. Wherefore thou gave us no down my money into the bank. Look how he said so Jesus was expecting that at least. At least.

At least, at least, bro. At least you will have put it somewhere that to multiply. Now let me tell what Jose. I told you just a b.

God is a businessman. If you don't know he's a businessman, he's interested in profits. Do you know what it means for him to bring his son to die? When people say it is finished and you think it's about you sitting down, you are joking.

He died so that he can. You can now live the life of God on this earth. If there's a life you are expected to live, that life is meant to produce a kind of lifestyle, a fruit. Jesus is looking for fruit.

How will he waste his precious blood to die for you? You receive him and oh, thank God. And you continue living for yourself. You make money and everything.

Everything is for yourself now. All the money and everything you have made one person. One person. One.

At least one person does bring one person to Christ. Now let me tell you whether putting the money in the bank, what you are trying to tell you then there are certain kings you can do as a believer may not necessarily need to talk to somebody one on one to preach the gospel. Say maybe might not necessarily preach somewhere and say give it to Christ. But there are certain kings you can do that you may not actively do.

But it will have a multiplied effect. For example, maybe investing in the kingdom business. You are always donating. Maybe to donating to mission work.

People are, people want to go and win souls. And you are always silently putting money you're not even doing it to. You have the heart because of your love for God. You are putting money there.

Now you're not the one doing it. That money is multiplying because for every person that receives the maybe you donated a lot of kings and people start receiving one person say, ah, God bless you so much. God bless this person and that person because of what you gave him. The person was empowered and was able to hear the gospel and receive Christ.

Guess what? You have increased something some, you have gained something. That's why you say putting money in the bank. Or maybe you are actively supporting a minister.

You are supporting a minister slowly. Bible says that anyone that helps a prophet will receive the prophet prophet's reward. Let me show you that scripture. When I saw that thing, I, I, I was shocked.

Do you know? Let me show you what Jesus said about this. Yeah. Matthew, chapter 10 verse, verse 41.

Let's go. , Quickly, before I come back. Matthew, chapter 10, verse 41. Look at what Jesus said.

It's Jesus that said, he Let me, let me read from verse 40. He that receiveth you receiveth me. And he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Now anyone that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward.

Do you know what that means? Let me tell you what that means. When Jesus was sending these disciples to go and preach to like 72 or so go and preach in two truths and told them that you should go to your house if they allow you in and bless the house. And this thing, if they don't allow you, shake your feet and everything, anybody receives you receiving me now anyone that receives you is going to receive your reward.

Do you hear that? So that means if I go, for example, I go and I go and preach somebody and the person gives life to Christ and if you come and help me or support me on that thing I'm doing, the same reward I'll receive for winning that soul, the same word you are going to receive. That's what he was trying to say. Yeah.

So that means that if you see somebody actively in service to God and you support that person, whatever that person is going to receive a reward, they're going to receive it. Look at what he said there. He that receives a prophet in the name of prophet shall receive A prophet reward. Let me show you another distance so you understand what I'm saying there.

He said anyone that welcome God messenger because he's God messenger shall share in his reward. That means that's what man was telling that. Oh, at least you put it in a bank. You may not actually go and be the one to go and pray for the sick or heal the sick or this thing, but you help the prophet or help somebody that is doing those kings to do it better.

You are going to share in the reward of that person. Do you see that There are many ways you can participate. Look at Joseph of Arimathea. He was a disciple of Jesus Christ.

But he was not the, the obvious one. Nobody knew him was a very. The Bible says he was a very rich man. Very, very, very, very rich.

But the only thing that he was a quiet disciple was not was secretive. Nobody knew. But guess what? Someone has quiet something that is useless.

He's the only person that had the mind and he had the influence and power to carry Jesus body from the cross. No disciples had the ability to do that because they didn't have influence. You see why God needs people in every area. Imagine Jesus did not have a disciple like that.

That's why his body will get on the cross because he had influence. So he just told the high priest or I think Roman, he said I want to carry his body, I want to put in my distance. So because he has money and influence, it's just like a politician saying I want to help them do this thing all that small people inside church cannot do because they don't have influence. But this guy had influence and he was a distraction disciple of Christ.

And he was able to carry the cross and put him in a rich man's womb. You see, he has what participated in the kingdom of God. He has received. He has received share in the reward of those that are God's messenger.

He said whoever welcomes a good man because he's good shall share in his reward. If you receive a righteous person because of righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs. So these are secret ways people can actually persevere the kingdom of God. So you may not necessarily stand here.

We are feeding somebody that is doing the work. I remember then people go for maybe outreach like this. So some people work in the welfare. All they are doing for morning tonight is cooking.

Now some of them were feeling that. See this one, they are praying. These ones are going to go and preach. I mean I'm cooking.

They were not feeling bad like I'm not doing anything. But God tried to correct me, even myself. Sometimes I'm looking at them like, imagine how will I be walking you cooking when people are there doing the active thing. And this scripture now came.

One of the scriptures like this now came. I said, no, no, no. The same reward that you are receiving for doing the same reward that these people that are cooking the rice and serving for you will also receive. This is the gospel.

So not everybody must do the thing that you think before you know, ah, this one is, this one is this thing. No, there are people that are there to support, maybe finances, whatever, but all is toward the kingdom. Some of them will be clean. I remember there are some that their job is just to clean.

They are just clean. They're not going to do this thing. They just clean you. I'm picking you just picking debt inside church.

But the question is your heart. That's the question, the heart posture, picking this thing. It doesn't make you less of this thing. You are going to receive the same reward.

You share the reward as the person so long as you are supporting those that are doing this thing. So this is one of the kings I, I got from there and it really helped. He said, give a little cold water to someone. Let me read that last part.

He said, and wheresoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of disciple very I sent to you. He shall no wise lose in his reward. Do you understand? So he said, because he's my Father.

So what is the anger? Anyone that gives a cup of water to the list of my followers because he's my follower, he will receive a reward. You will certainly receive a reward. So helping the ministry of God is another way you can participate.

So Jesus was expecting that guy to at least do something like this. You are not going, but at least throw something to help somebody now. Help somebody. Some people, everything is inside.

No, that's not how we do it. So we're almost done. So he said, take him now. See what he said.

That , Wherefore thou givest no doubt, my money unto the bank, that at my coming I might have required my own with usury. And he said unto them, thou stood by. Take from him the pound. Give it to the one that had ten pounds.

Do you hear that? He collected the pounds from him to run out 10 pounds. And he said unto him, lord. And they said unto him.

So he told maybe, I'm sure that's like, maybe like the angels. He told them, collect that pound for me, give it to me, Take notes. They did not take away the pound that was with that one that had one pound. Jesus did not collect back this thing.

He just came and saw it, right? Saw what they have done with it. He did not collect this thing, they kept it with them. But he also give them what responsibilities.

But this particular one, he collected that one pound he had and gave to that one that had ten pounds. I said, ah, Lord, he has ten pounds. For I say unto you now, the question is, why did Jesus not give that 10 pounds to the other one that have 5? So that it will be balanced.

No, when you are faithful, you'll be giving more. That's the principle. So it's not about balance, it's not about you, this one having 10, this one, the one is just. Be faithful.

Whatever you were able to achieve, be faithful. What you have. Not everybody, not all fingers are equal. That's the truth.

Right, so now look at verse 26. For I say unto you now, unto everyone which hath he shall be given, and for him that hath not, even that he shall be taken away from from him. Verse 27. Now look at the important part.

Take note. That guy that had one pound, they did not kill him. Look at what happened. This verse 27.

But those my enemies, remember those citizens, he said, those my enemies which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither and slay them before me. This is what happened. See the judgment of those two people. The one, the guy with the one pound that did not do anything, they did not kill him.

Like the ones that were that rejected Christ, that did not want Christ to reign over them. The one that don't want Christ reign, they basically they slayed them. That means they were taken to hell. Basically they went, they perished.

But that guy, one time they just collected this thing. My question is, yes, you have received Christ, you did not reject Christ. But now hope you are not the guy with £1 that came back with still the same £1. What are you doing for the kingdom?

This is what people don't understand. Now that guy is going to be miserable all his life, even in that place. My God, he called me wicked servant inside Heavens. Why are we saying this?

God is looking for faithfulness. He is looking for faithfulness in the little thing that he has given unto us. We read this portion to close about the third servant. First .

First Corinthians chapter 3, verse 12 to 15, which goes. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold Silver, precious stone, wood, hay and stubble. Right. Now take notes.

You see the hierarchy. Gold, silver, precious stone, wood, hair and stubble. Every man. First Corinthians, chapter 3, verse 12 to 15, verse 13.

Now every man walk shall be made manifest. For the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire. And the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is verse 14. If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

If any man work shall be born, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved. Yet so as by fire. You see what he's saying here? The problem is not even about whether you are going to hellfire or not.

Look at what you're saying. As long as you are a believer, as long as you receive Christ, he said you will be saved. Now the main issue is not about you being saved or not be saved. Look at what he said there.

Now your work is. Just picture it. This is you now. Your work is with you.

They are going to pass you through fire. Now when you pass through that fire, what will happen is that the quality of your work matters on this earth. Someone is going, you know the quality of the work you do for God matters on this earth. If I you'll be holding your what you have done, you pass through that fire.

Now what happens that if it was hay like dry grass, everything will burn away. What will be left is just you. You will not be burnt. You what you will be saved.

You pass through it. But the only problem is that all those kings I thought you were carrying as your walks, it will burn up. And it's only you that passed. Do you see the danger?

Do you see what's going on there? You see why the quality of the work you are doing on earth matters a lot for God. Leave people. You focus on what God has called you to do.

And be faithful in what he has called you to do. He said it will be burnt that reward. Now he said if your work abides when you pass through the fire and it seems passage and he survives. He said if any man's work abide which are built upon, he shall receive a reward.

Only those. That means gold. If you pass gold through fire, it's not born. If you pass silver through fire, it's not born.

Precious stone through fire, it's not born. When you start going to wood, hay and all these kings, you see that wood, you start losing some this thing to be black. Your reward will reduce. It will reduce.

So whatever you, when you pass that Fire whatever is left after punish fire. That's your reward. This is why we must watch. That's why Paul said, my dear children, whom I labor in bed spins again until Christ is formed.

You ask him, why is this one still laboring? Has Christ not died for you? What are you still doing? What is all this?

Why are you fasting? Why are you praying? What are you doing? You must understand that there is a reward.

There is a reward. You say anyone that run runs to receive. There is a reward. Salvation is.

Yes, you receive salvation. Yeah. Glory to God. You'll be saved so long as you just believe.

Keep believing in Jesus Christ. So long as keep doing your thing, you'll be saved. But much more than you do nothing. Make sure you are participating in the kingdom.

He said, look at verse this thing. Verse 10. According to the grace of God, which is given unto me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation another builder. But let every man take it from how he builded thereupon for other foundation can no man lay than that which Jesus Christ have laid.

So in summary, every believer's work are going to be burned up, right? Every believer work is going to be tried with fire. But only those work that will stand. The believer will be saved.

He said, yes, that scripture read is just saying that a believer's work will be burned up. Some people will be burned up, but that believer will be saved. Take note, you will be saved, but your work is now what the koko is. Sarah.

Jesus is emphasizing a lot on this thing. If you see how many scriptures just try to explain about this. You investing in his kingdom, you pushing. He talked about a man that found gold in his.

The. In the land. And he dug and he picked it up and he sold everything just to make sure he preserved that thing. You see all those kings he was trying to explain the kingdom.

Kingdom. Kingdom. Kingdom. Kingdom.

There's a reason why he's emphasizing on it. A generation of believers have grown to think that they don't need to do much. Just I believe in God, so I don't need to. You see them well, it's not that deep.

J. This church thing, I'm not really interested. At least my faith. I have faith in God.

I believe in Jesus Christ. He died for me and I. And he rose again. I love Jesus and that is all.

But you're nothing. You check your account. How much goes into kingdom? What?

How much of your time are you using for the kingdom? How much of energy goes to kingdom? These are the main kings that we're looking at so to close demeanor represent our represents what Christ has entrusted to every believer. That includes the gospel.

The opportunity has given you all those small small conversation having people the gifts he has given you the time, the influence, the resources. That is what the pound represents. Depos when you put them, when you put that mina or that pound in the bank is a picture of you doing whatever faithful step you can. Even if you cannot accomplish great kings on your own.

So you must not do great kings. You that's the truth. It's not. Look at it now.

Not all the 12 disciples that did great kings. That's the truth. Like they did not do great kings. It's not everybody that raised dead.

It's not everybody that raised dead. It's not everybody that he sick. Look at John, John the beloved that wrote Revelation. Did you hear him doing miracles?

But what his own was that he received revelation from God. It's not everybody that do like mighty signs and wonders. Nobody that walk on water. Just be faithful in that one as God has called you to.

There are some women of God that did a lot of kings. You read in the scripture a lot of them. He did a lot of kings. Was it not the Mary that preached and told people about that Jesus has risen up.

So the prayer is that God will give us the grace to be faithful. We're going to pray to God. I hope God will help us to be faithful in that which he has called us to do. And may our works not be burned up on that day.

Right. Because of lack of faithfulness. And we pray that even if we cannot do much, at least we pray that God help us to deposit what we have in the bank. I've explained what it means.

So these are prayer. So go to God in prayer now, thanking him for the word and asking him for grace to apply this word in our life. Shall we go to God in prayer?
