The Carnal Minded Believer

So I usually like to start with a Bible verse right there. Sometimes there's just an emphasis on one particular verse. Like this morning, a verse just came, it's not the topic, but a verse just came in the book of Acts 20:27, book of Acts, chapter 20, verse 27. Maybe it's a message for the church, I don't know.

Or maybe for someone. Acts 20, verse 27, it just says, for I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. I have not shown to declare unto you all the counsel of God. This is Paul speaking to the elders of the church.

In elders of the church here he was speaking to the elders of church. He was about to, he was bidding here the Ephesians elders. And he said that. Right.

So I think it's imperative, I don't know why he came, but it's imperative that we ensure that we do not shun to tell God's children all the counsel of God. Everything that God will have his children know. Nothing should be hidden, not partial truths, not 60% because of this or that. Everything should be reviewed.

And the Lord that has reviewed that to even you will give us the wisdom to be able to share of all. I will declare unto every other people all the counsel of God. That is the word of the Lord on that. Yeah.

So today, last time we looked at the baptism of the Holy Ghost and today I was like trusting God that what is the message? And the word came. The canal minded believer. The canal minded believer.

Right. So and the question that comes, that's the topic, the canal minded believer. The question that come with this kind of topic is because whenever you see a topic, one of the best ways to learn fast is by asking questions. The more questions you ask, the more you are able to receive.

Questions are like, it's like someone on a quest to receive something. So it's a journey, one question is to another, another, another, another. And that's how you gain knowledge. Right.

So the question there that comes is can a person be a believer that's a born again and yet still be carnal minded? Is it possible for me to be, I mean born again? You have actually no, I'm not talking about fake born again, genuine born again Christian, but yet still be carnal minded. We're going to look at the case study, but let's look at our key anchor Scripture, First Corinthians, chapter three, verse one to four.

And that is the proof. And we'll look at somebody that was very close to Jesus that did this thing in Fact, we'll see. It's 1 Corinthians, chapter three. John 3, verse 1 to 4.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as as unto spiritual, but as unto canal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk and not with meat. For hitherto, that is, until now you were not able to bear it. Neither yet now are you able to bear.

For ye are yet carnal, for whereas there is among you envying strife, division, are ye not carnal and walk as men? That is Paul talking. You know, most of the letters Paul was writing, he rarely wrote it to unbelievers. You know, that's the funny thing.

Sometimes we think church is a place for perfect people. That's why you hear people saying, I don't like going church, but people in church are hypocrites. What do you think church is? Church is the hospital.

It's like a hospital. It's where people come to get fixed. Jesus did not come for the righteous, he came for the unrighteous. He came to save the lost.

That's why he was going to the synagogue, because he found out that the people that were in synagogue were people that were sick. It's like we don't understand. The church is a place where people come. So when we expect that, oh, that's why.

Why would I be writing a letter to a place that I know is already doing well? What's the point of me addressing matters like this if that place is already okay? There's no need because that is what it is in the church. So it's a place where we are trying to fix issues.

You diagnose problems. Oh, this person has cancer, for example. So this person has issues with pride. This one has issue with strife.

Okay, let's see, how can we fix it? They'll recommend some scriptures to you. They say some scriptures to you, and some you pray and read the scriptures and you start practicalizing it before you know you are free from that counsel or that particular thing. That is how the church is.

So Paul was writing letter to believers. Sometimes you have to believe that someone listen to Paul was saying. Also, whenever we receive the word, we think it's for them. Right?

We don't know that Paul is talking to me. Talking to you. So we have to check these things. So Paul is telling us here that we are still canal why?

And we're going to look into that. So let me. I want to talk about Peter's story, Peter's case. I want to talk about Peter's case.

Peter was able to discern that Jesus is the son of God. Now do you know that? The next verse after that, Peter Jesus told Peter, ah, truly, flesh and blood has not revealed this thing to you. I want to open that scripture.

Let me open it. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. Imagine he now said in the next verse, Peter. Jesus now told Peter that, okay, I'm going to be killed on the cross.

Matthew 16:17. Let's look at it there. Matthew 16:17. Let me show you a case study of somebody that is spiritual, someone that is born again because they believe in Jesus Christ.

Right, Peter? All of them were born again, right? They haven't been baptized. Look at it.

Matthew 16:17. Maybe you are thinking this is above me. Maybe I'm thinking, ah, I'm not canally minded. Let's look at it.

Matthew 16:17 and let's look at from verse 15 he said unto them, but whom say ye that I am? Jesus asked him. St. Peter answered and said, thou art the Christ, the son of the living God. Jesus was like Kai.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed art thou, Simon Bajona for flesh and blood, flesh. That means the carnal mind did not tell him this thing. It was not his flesh that told him this thing, but my Father which is in heaven. That means he was able to hear God.

At that point when Jesus asked, who do you say I am? He said, it's not your flesh that reveals him. It was God himself that the spirit of God told him, you are the son of God. Guess what now?

And I say unto you that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church. And the gate of the Lord shall not prevail against him. And I will give unto you the key of the kingdom of heaven. And whatever thou shalt bound on earth, thou shalt bound in heaven.

And whatever thou lose on earth, thou shalt lose in his name. And he charged the disciple that he should tell no man that he was Jesus Christ. Look at what Jesus just told Peter. Now, now, now can you see the shocking thing?

Next few verses. Look at verse 21 to 23 from that time. For Jesus began to show unto his disciple how that he must go on to Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders, the chief priest and the scribe, and be killed and be raised again the third day. And Peter took him and began to rebuke Jesus Christ and said, be far from thee, Lord, that this, that thou, that this shall not be unto thee.

Look at what? Look at the same Jesus that just told this guy, I'm Giving the key of heaven. And this thing, I've done this, I've done this. Verse 23.

And he turned and said unto Peter. See, look how he said. He said unto Peter, he did not say unto the demon behind Peter. He said unto Peter, he said get behind me, Satan.

That means look at Peter. Jesus saw that what he just said there was not coming from the spirit of God in him. It came from something else. The canal man.

He said, get behind me, Satan. Thou art an offense unto me for thou sufferest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Can you. I don't know.

Let's process this a little bit. Somebody that was able to hear God and said something. Somebody that used to prophesy prophecy. Thou, you are Jesus Christ.

Next few verses, this same person just ah, maybe oh God bless you. You are healed. In Jesus name, Amen. Are you here somebody you raise the dead?

Maybe you just raised there. No, no, no. You just went outside. The same person that raised there and I went outside and slapped somebody.

You have just like a madman, you just enter your car. Somebody just maybe wanted to bruise you by a madman. Can you do you understand? See, that's what Peter, Peter and Paul was trying to tell us there being born again does not mean that ah, you have, you have gone out of this earth.

You are, are not a saint. No, no, no, you see that's the mistake people think and that's why they let their gas down. They say won't say forever saved. I'm born again.

So you. You now feel that. Oh, oh, you now relax. You let your gu.

Let me tell you, the person that is born again has more work to do than someone that's not even been saved. That's why I say walk out of salvation. What fear and trembling you are much let me tell you. In fact when somebody is on the first position in class I remember the reason why my life is like this.

I've come to realize that is because what I'm looking for is beyond what a normal person looking for. I'm not looking for. I'm not looking for eight. I'm looking for 90.

I'm looking for 99. I'm looking for 100. That's why they say school is not stressful. Now you define a.

That's what you guys invested. Now you define it now that's why you're stressed that you see when you know that you see it takes a lot to be at the top. If it's that you just want to be normal, you can Live your life anyhow. You can play.

Anyhow you can play. Someone say, why are you always doing? Why you always. Why you always.

Some people, I see some people, the way they label, they have given their life to Christ. But you see that they are still working. They understand something is you that don't understand that when you give your life to Christ, there is in fact when you accept Jesus Christ, that is you saying, welcome to labor, guys. There's another dimension of labor that some people don't understand.

That's why you see Christians, some of you like Christ and the person like. You see the person like before and after. Before you are not praying when you give life to Christ. After you give life to Christ, you're still not praying.

You're still not going deep. You are still just. Something is wrong with you. This is what now.

This was what led to Jesus now saying, look at verse 24. Then Jesus said to disciple, if any man see, he said, you know, you don't say if a pastor, you don't say if a brother, if anybody, anybody. I don't want to know whether you have been 50 years in church. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself.

That is what happened to Peter. Peter did not deny himself. Look at what he said. That's when he said, get behind me, Satan.

Thou art an offense unto me. You are an offense to me for thou that severance. I just like to read this thing that. Let's look at that severance.

Let's look at that Matthew again. Let me just open up Matthew. That's in Matthew. Matthew chapter.

I want to just show us something there. Matthew. I trust God to help us. Yeah.

Matthew 16, verse 23. I want to show you how deep this thing is. He said, another one said, get away from me, Satan. You are an obstacle in my way.

Because the thoughts of yours don't come from God, but from human nature. You see what just said there, Satan? You see, the problem is not what you say is, where did that thing come from? Do you know that I can do so many good things in the flesh?

And guess what? It's empty. God. Now let me ask you a question.

What is wrong with what Peter said? Let me see another translation. He said, Peter took him aside. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

God forbid it, Lord. You know when some people say something and he say, God forbid, God forbid. I reject it for you. When someone say, do you know that I can die tomorrow?

Someone say, God forbid, God forbid, God forbid, God forbid. I reject it for you do you know that in as much as you chip in the flesh. The problem was not what Peter said it was where did it come from? Do you know?

Peter actually said it because he loved Jesus Christ. But the problem is not about you loving. You see, when you are led by your emotion, there is something wrong with you. Many of us, we say there are certain things.

I say certain things. You say that you think is God because it's good. See, not everything that is good is God. Let me say it again, not everything that is good is God.

Sometimes you say something out of love or protection for your child or something, but then tell you something, some of those things are coming from the flesh. The flesh wants to protect those he cares about. Let me tell you something. Flesh does not mean that everything you do in flesh must be satanic.

Do you know there are many things I can do on this pulpit now that are good. But guess what? It's not good. And the Bible says the canal mandate to be carnally minded is empty.

God, for example, I can stand here on this puppet and I can say something and the thing is coming from my flesh. Let me tell you how it's coming from my flesh. I want to say something so that I can glorify myself. And you might not know, but I'm doing it so that I can feel higher and it will not be noticeable.

But guess what? Because that thing is coming from another nature. It is enmity with God. So whenever you're sitting here, nobody says oh, we are surrounded with witnesses.

We have come to Jesus Christ mediator. I'm sorry? Yes, Jesus Christ mediator have come to God of all flesh. That's Hebrew chapter.

I'm quoting Hebrew chapter 13. If I'm conscious that Jesus Christ is sitting here, Jesus Christ is not on that seat. No. I hope you're aware that God the father, God the son of the Spirit is here right now and there are angels in the room.

Hope you are aware. So imagine I can. I'm conscious that Jesus is here. That's what Peter said.

Now there are certain things I can say from here that is coming from my flesh. I don't know if you're getting me. It's good though. But the problem is where is it coming from?

That is what Jesus was trying to address here. Get away from this Satan do and obstacle my way. Because the top of yours don't come from God. Where is your thoughts coming from?

That's is why we are talking about this topic. A carnal minded believer. Why do you want to do that? Business.

Where is it coming from? A carnal minded believer, it doesn't come from God, but from the human nature. I want to do good in the church. I want to do this, I want to clean this place.

Where is it coming from? See, that's why one of the most powerful prayers for me is that prayer of David. Search me. Oh God, know my heart, try me, know my thoughts.

He said the help of man is desperately wicked. Who can know it? Who? See, you can't.

You cannot let him that think he standing take it lets you fall. When you hear that, you should be like God help me. Every day you just be like. In fact you see, that's why some people, they try not to talk too much again.

I know that's another thing again. You think because you don't talk too much, you are free for me too. Ah, that's another life in the devil. Don't think that everybody that is just always doing like this, just you don't talk.

Those are even the worst. Because let me tell you, Mr. Flesh, it's not every time Mr. Flesh wants to talk, sometimes he prefers to keep quiet.

And the reason why he's keeping quiet is not because he's humble, he's a lie. It's not humility, it's because he knows like if he talks people can attack him. So he's going to keep quiet. See this, this matter is a very deep matter.

That's why Jesus said he then will come to let him deny himself. Peter had a choice to deny himself there. But because he was not descending enough, Adam was descending. He would have spoken from the realm of the spirit to know what Jesus say in natural truth.

And he was just like. But flesh, flesh, no ground flesh, no alarm. I was like, go for it. How will this now die?

Raising the dead? Why you say that you die? This is how many people are still doing today. That's why Paul said this thing.

Let's go back to our distance. I've not even started. God help us, let's go back to our portion. So I said when I was listening, I was, I was weeping.

I was kind of like Jesus who can't deliver us from this nature. No wonder Paul was saying, oh wretched man that I am, who can deliver him? Only Jesus Christ. Only, only Jesus.

Only Jesus. Only Jesus. So that question I'll be answered. Can a believer be both a person, both be a believer and still be canally minded?

Yes, if you like argue, I'm showing you scripture if you like. Don't open your heart to understand that Ah, so right now I can be preaching here and I can be so carnally minded. See, until you understand that to be carnally minded does not necessarily mean you are doing fornication, that you are committing laws or you are lying or you are cheating. Canal in mind is anything that comes from the canal.

Mind from the flesh. It is canal. It is enmity with God. See, the same person that communication.

Let me tell you, let me tell you how bad this thing is. Someone that does communication is doing it from the canal man. Somebody that says something out of love, but because it's coming from the flesh. He said even if I put my body to the bones and I don't have love, it's the same thing.

That means it's coming from the canal man. Even If I give 10 million to donate for this shot to grow, even if I even give all my money today. But because that thing is coming from somewhere else, the canal man is the same. The same way that person has come for education with me, the same way I'm donating 10 million to church from flesh.

We are the same people. Let me tell you this, if you don't understand this thing, you have problem with your work with God. The problem is not what you do. I'm saying it again.

I don't know why I'm emphasizing not what I do. It is where is it coming from? That's why Jesus spoke. Jesus was warning people, judging with appearance.

Appearance is going to do most deceptive things in this nature today carry Bible, carry everything, wear scarf, do everything. It's coming from the flesh. Pharisees were the best dressed but yet Jesus was always attacking them. They never.

You can never see the Pharisees doing anyhow. They always compose composure. It's only Jesus that was able to expose them. That's why Jesus said I came to expose the works of darkness and to destroy it.

Only Jesus could see that all the people are believing Pharisees. They never knew that these people were bad Jesus, those king wars, he saw them, he brood of vipers. Even John Baptist. What are you doing here?

Just they were able to see in the spirit. Ah, this one was their filthy whitewash tombs Inside they are having dead bones. God will help us. Now next question is Anna asked what is the defining feature of a carnal minded believer?

What defines exactly a carnal minded? We have established as a believer, right? We've established that this person goes to church. The believer is.

He does all those things. Ah, he knows all the tongues, he knows all those languages. The person can speak in Tongues, that's another part. The person can do all of those things.

He can even raise the dead, he can heal the sick. Some of them are sick, cannot mind it. Let me see now. Because the Bible gave the criteria for you to do all those things in my name.

He said anyone that believe in my name you cast out demon. So that means you don't need to be extremely distant if you just believe. Many people can do all those things. I'm telling you many people can heal the secret draw those things even.

But yet they're still canal minded. Now he said what is the defining feature? Maybe I doubt what I'm saying that somebody that is the canal minded believer can do all these things. Let me prove it to you.

Look at Samson. The spirit of love was upon Samson. He did all those mighty things. Guess what?

Samson was a canon minded believer. The reason why he was doing all those things was because of his own flesh. The first time. In fact the first problem was woman.

Everything about Samson story was because of woman. He said he liked one woman in this thing. Because of that woman he killed many Philistines and they now killed woman because they killed woman. He went there and killed more Philistines because everything was just about woman.

What am I saying? He had the spirit of might but yet he was a what camera minded believer. Are you seeing that the problem is no power? So when you begin to measure power by you measure someone's spiritual health, I say ah, this one is mature because he can do all of these things.

That's why I have problem is again. So that's why I cannot judge somebody by this. By my appearance I can see somebody that looking like tout. But guess what?

This person is more mature than I am. Now that's a hard one to take. I'll leave down to you and the Holy Spirit. So now what is the divine feature of the cannon minded believer?

Envy, strife, division. There are many. There are many. Go and read Galatians 5, the word for the slide because of time.

Now he said they are controlled by a sinful nature. What makes me a canonic believer, what makes somebody a carnal is because I'm being controlled by a sinful nature. But you'll be wondering. But he said, if any man being Christ, he's a new creature, all things are possible, all things have become new.

So how then is a new creature still carrying the carnal mind? We'll see there in Ephesians the efficient says something before we go there. Ephesians 4:17 to 32. I'm not going to read it now, read it later.

But the answer to that question is that you, me, I, all of us must intentionally what? Put on the new man. That's what the solution is. You must consciously every day.

It's like wearing the clothes just like this. You have a wardrobe, right? Of all your clothes. You can come to the wardrobe and look at the wardrobe today, say which one I wear today.

That's what it means. And you see the new man put it on, you wear it. I choose to put on righteousness today. It's a daily choice.

Do you know what makes us special for the angels? The fact that we get to choose to worship God every day. The angels, they don't have a choice. Their life is just.

Their life is boring, I'm sorry to say, because they don't have any choice. That's why it's exciting to be a human being today. Because I get to wake up in the morning and say, I choose to love Jesus every day. You have, you have a choice.

God will never force you to come. Come, you will wake up and say, I choose life. I choose to love Jesus. It's a daily activity.

I choose to deny self. You must choose it. So the same way you put it on, put on the new man. So some people think, ah, if I give my life automatically, you now become a saint.

Ah, that's the biggest lie from the devil. You don't let me tell you what happens when you give your life to that. When I give my life to Christ today, what happens is that my spirit is saved automatically and my spirit is revealed for salvation. If I die now, I'm going to heaven.

But now something is wrong. My human being, my body and my mind is far. See the distance between your spirit and your body. Your body still here.

Your spirit has gone. It's already there. He said you are seated with Christ. That's what he said.

Now when you are immediate, your spirit is already transported to where Jesus Christ is seated in Christ in high places. Your spirit is very far from his power. You are far above demons, all those things, far above it. But your mind and your body is still here.

Now this is what happens with many believers. Many people are still at 0 years old in their spiritual life. They are still infants. Now a canal minded believer is an infant.

That's another thing. A canal minded believer is simply an infant in the spirit. You are still feeding on breast milk. Some of them have started feeding breast milk.

That's the worst thing. And you know the funny thing, painful thing is that many people still Want to remain on that level. And. And guess what?

They are aging. They are 60 some. You know, you'll be surprised though. Somebody's 70 going to church.

He's an even dying church. But guess what? It's hard to believe, but that person can still be an infant. Let me prove to you what I'm saying there.

We'll get there. So core focus is not the unbeliever, but the believer who is still controlled by the first. All this I'm saying, I'm not talking to unbelievers. I'm talking to believers.

This word was not for unbelievers, is to believers. Those of us are, ah, I believe Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, are even getting baptized. This is the word for believers. So.

So you should be asking our God. Search my heart God now. Hebrews 5, verse 12. Hebrews 5.

Now let me explain what it means to be an infant in the spirit. Right? Paul has already addressed it there. Now.

First Corinthians. First Corinthians. That we read. First Corinthians, chapter 3, verse 1.

Let's. Now. Let's go. Hebrews 6 first.

Okay, before. Sorry. Hebrew 5. Thank you.

Hebrews 5, verse 1 to 2. I'm conscious of time. Hebrews 5, verse 1to 2. I read.

Hebrews 5. Sorry. Hebrews 5:12. Hebrews 5:12.

Yeah. For when? For when. For the time ye ought to be teachers.

Ye still have need that won't teach you again. Which be the first principles of the oracles of God. You can underline that word. The first principles of the oracles of God and have become such as have need of milk and not strong meat.

This is the state of. Sadly, this is the state of the church. When I say the church, I'm talking about the global church. It is.

It is very sad. They are trooping in numbers. Thousands, millions people. Christians.

Two billion Christians. How many have grown? This is why there's something called discipleship. This is why they need for people to move from the status of being a believer to becoming a disciple.

Jesus said to the disciples, go and make disciples of all nations. It's only a disciple that can make a disciple. How will I make a disciple? How will I start the Great Commission when I'm still a believer?

Let me use another translation. He said, for though by this time you ought to be a teacher. You see? Who is he talking to again?

You see, I like. Let's get the context. Who's he talking to? He's talking to believers.

Paul is expecting every believer to be a teacher. I Don't know where we now get some say no, no, no, I'm just small, I cannot do this. He said by this time, ah, by this time you are meant to be teaching. They're still teaching you.

You say you want to be teaching. You need someone to teach you again. See now there are two problems. Number one problem is that the fact that I said you need someone to teach you again.

That means they have taught you before the first principles of the oracles of God. They now need to teach again. Now the second one is that some people have not even they have not been taught them the first principles. You know that many people have been antichrist in this church and they don't know the first principles of the oracles of God.

If I ask you what is the first principles of the oracles of God, I say and you have come to need milk and not solid food. You are still taking milk. Since you gave your life to church for the past how many years, all you are breaking is milk. Just imagine your child.

You gave birth to a child, a baby today. And for five years, five years old child is still taking breast milk. Abomination. This is what's happening to the church today.

They don't know how to eat solid food. I'm sure. Imagine this was the whole church. Now listen to this thing.

Some people you see, they spread their face already stand up eating cannot. They cannot. They don't capacity just like trying to feed a baby. The church, the person can vomit or something, it will choke.

The church is not even big enough to take it. That is what is happening to men. Your capacity is low. You don't when you hear uncomfortable.

Let me tell you, let me put to you how you know whether you able to take solid food when the word of God comes that you know that you defaulting this thing and it hit you there. I don't know if you have seen Word of God. I was watching a video a Bible class online. And as he was teaching, it was the man wrote a book on book.

So as the woman was reading the book the man wrote, she was crying. As she was reading it was talking about the works of the flesh. She was crying. You see, the world was hitting her that just hitting her, hitting her that she was eating solid food.

You know, there's a way when you eat solid food for the first time, it will be struggling your throat, but after a while you be able to take it in. That's how you know that. Oh, but when you're in a place where everything you know there's a day I felt, I felt that ah. I think I'm eating too much milk.

Something, something was missing. You know, you eat finish, you finish service. This is how you know that you eat solid food. You finish service every time you see that it's as if I'm not eating something is empty.

It's because you are feeding on milk too much. See, there's a danger of. There's a danger in feeding on me too much. Now let's go and look at what is the first principle of the God.

It's still in the scripture. Holy Spirit, help us. Hebrews 6, verse 1 to 2. You see, this is why I like Paul.

Paul talked about in verse 5. He now went to address it in verse 6, chapter 6, Hebrews chapter 6, verse 1 to 2. Now see, therefore leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ. Now let's list them out.

Let us go again on to perfection. O God, leave this basic thing. Every time you're talking about repentance born again to the same people for how many years. Imagine you are in school, they are teaching you abc.

There's sometimes I do lessons and what is teaching me 18 years it's not imagine I'm going to the school and everything I teach you is the thing that since the day people like talking about it again. It's not Paul that is telling him organ you you have been this thing since. Why are you still here? You should be a teacher by now.

See, let us go again to perfection. Not laying again, you see, don't lay again. The foundation of repentance from dead works. Now let me list them out.

Number one foundation. Number one, repentance from dead work. Those are the principles. If someone calls a born again Christian and if someone has been like two years in church, one year in church or is now a believer and he still he doesn't know these six things.

You are not, you are still a baby. You are saying, let me prove to you. He said number one foundation of repentance on dead world. You don't understand the cause of repentance till now.

Something is wrong with you. You're still a baby. Not something wrong with you, you're still a baby. Number one, faith towards God.

You still understand faith towards God. Till now they still teaching about faith. Number three, doctrine of baptism. Let me just read it according to what it is.

Doctrine of baptism. You don't understand the concept of baptism in fact, but you still understand what baptism is. And guess what? It's not even just one baptism in wrote it.

See the plural Word s doctrine of baptisms. You don't understand that there are different baptisms. Even Jesus Christ even asked these people. Sorry.

One of the apostles asked them. Which baptism did you guys go through? He said Baptism of John. Apollos was teaching the church there.

He said that Apollo's. Apollo's curriculum of teaching the world of God was not complete. It was only teaching about what John. John the Baptist.

See, that's flesh talking. It's not that you want to grow. It's a lie. You want people to see you as very spiritual.

You want to jump into. You want to be praying two hours. I want to pray so that people see ah, this man is very fire. This one is spiritual, this one high.

You want to be fasting 10 days or seven days. You don't even know the basic things. You want to jump. That's what people are doing today.

People are jumping. They Want to eat solid food. They want to claim somebody who jump from children's class, want to become adult. Somebody will jump from youth Bible study.

Want to jump to adults from the school because you got. Got married. Oh, God help us. So you see, these are the issues.

We don't treat the normal educational system that way, but when it comes to the spirit, it feel just anyhow. In fact, nobody's any concerned. Nobody's. You just do it loosely anyhow.

You want to do it. A curriculum. That's what Peter Paul is trying to tell you. There's a curriculum.

How do you respond to a believer that did that thing?

Now if that believer doesn't feel, you must give a solution to this thing, how do you respond to that kind of person that did something like that? Some people will just see immature believer will do what they'll talk about. They will expose cancer, the old person. Everybody will hear talk about how bad what person did this and never even for months spend time to pray for that person.

Something is wrong. Now let's look at what Paul is saying here. As newborn babies desire the sincere milk of the world that he may grow thereby. You must grow.

That is it. If you are, if somebody is in this place, I don't know what you desire for your church, but I don't know about you. Everybody must grow. Nobody must remain a baby.

It's an abomination. No father on earth will want his child to remain a baby. You must grow. God wants us to grow.

I don't know if you can say that I must grow. Whatever level you are, I must grow. There is more. You can never exhaust it.

Why do you think fathers of faith today? Look at the fathers of the biggest churches in Nigeria today. You can't ask them questions. They are still.

It's as if they are still feeling that they have not started, you hear? They are still praying and seeing they have not started. And me, I just started and I'm feeling tired. Something is wrong.

Something is wrong. See, it is an abomination for you to continue to feed on milk forever. Talk about milk. Milk is the first principles of Christ.

Because you know that you can be an adult in the flesh. The flesh is always growing, but the spirit must be grown voluntarily. You must do it by. You must, must consciously.

The spirit will not grow automatically like the flesh. In fact, don't do anything to your flesh. Your flesh will grow from 0 years old to 100 years old. Don't do anything.

It will grow. Just eat my mouth. Just do no mountain. But the spirit.

You must do work. You must actively do work. That's why we pray. That's why we fast.
