Baptism of the Holy Ghost

Will you bless the Lord for another time in his presence? God is intentional with us and God wants us to be conscious of his presence every single moment. Even right now he's speaking, but we have to be sensitive to his voice. So we thank God for how the Lord has led us for the past few weeks and he has always been directing us.

Last time we looked at the mission minded believer why it's important for the church to be mission minded and not just casual with the work that God has assigned to us. And we highlighted the great commission today. Lord is directing us to now there's something that is needed for us to be a mission minded church. There is, there is a consciousness that has to be in us for us to be a mission minded believer and a mission minded church.

And that brings us to act chapter 1, verse 8. Act chapter 1, verse 8. Trust in the Holy Spirit to lead us. He said, but ye shall receive power.

After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Samaria and unto the utmost part of the earth. So the topic today is the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The baptism of the Holy Ghost. This was the last ingredient needed for the disciples to be able to carry out the great commission. The last ingredient that Jesus had been talking about it so much when he was on earth with them. Before he left there was a portion we just kept on talking about it.

I was saying the comforter, the promise of the Father. He was even referencing the prophets and all those things that the the promise of the Father and all those things. He has been saying it since and before he left ascended to heaven. He told them, go and wait there.

Told them, go and wait there and you receive the Holy Ghost. Verse 5 says, For John, truly baptized with water, for ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now, not many days from end. That was what Jesus told them. Verse 4 says, and being assembled together and commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father.

Which said he, you have heard of me. Which said he afraid of me. So the question that comes to you and I today is have you been baptized with the Holy Ghost? Prove to us that you have been baptized with the Holy Ghost.

That's the question for everyone today. Yes, I know you have been baptized with water. But I would like to let you know that the day you got baptized in the water, water baptism is not necessarily the day you got baptized with the Holy Ghost. Here we see that baptism of the Holy Ghost is.

Takes place after a period of waiting on God. If you read it here, Jesus told them, why did Jesus not just before he went to heaven just say, take the Holy Ghost? If you read, Jesus appeared to the disciples multiple times before he went to heaven. And there's a time where they were in the room, in their room.

They were in a room eating together. When the angel resurrected and the Bible said that Jesus appeared in the room. He appeared, literally just appeared. So you see, and Jesus told them something, received the Holy Spirit and he left.

But somebody was not in the room that time. He did it, Thomas. That's why he was doubting. And they went to tell, Thomas, I've seen Jesus Christ.

Did you know what he did there when he said that? He said, receive the Holy Spirit. But now when he was about to go to heaven, he told them, wait in Jerusalem until after the Holy Ghost you receive power. So you see that there are two different instances there.

There is receiving the Holy Spirit, there is a baptism of the Holy Ghost, and there's an infilling of the Holy Spirit which we want to look at. We trust God as he leads us here. Why is this important? That's the question that you might be wondering your mind ever since from the Old Testament we find out that there were many cases where the Bible says, and the hand of the Lord was upon this one.

Hand of the Lord came upon Saul, even Saul. Hand of God came upon Samson himself. He said, the Spirit of the Lord empowered Samson and he did this. So you hear different cases where the Spirit of God comes upon a man for a brief moment to do something.

What extraordinary, something supernatural, something that is beyond human abilities. That's how he has always been. But that was not God's. That was, you know, everything that happened in the Old Testament is the shadow of the things to come.

The whole, the way the tabernacle was built, everything that took place in Exodus, Genesis, the law, all those things were shadow of what was to come. I'm trusting God to lead me so that I'll manage the time. So those were how it was. So all those things were shadow of what was come.

So the eventual plan was that God wants to make man his permanent dwelling place. I say it again. God's desire was that he wants. He wants us to become his permanent dwelling place.

That's why, you see, it was first a tent. They were always carrying tabernacle around God's presence. Now, Solomon now said, ah, let me build a temple for God. And Solomon even said, realized that God can actually stay in the temple.

But there were now prophecies concerning that a day will come where they will have a tabernacle, a temple. God will have a temple that is going to dwell in us, basically. And we see that the temple that Solomon built in the Old Testament was a force, was a shadow of we as individuals. I saw something yesterday as regarding the way Solomon built the temple.

Do you know that when Solomon was building the temple of God, all the materials that were built, used to build it was not built inside the house. Like, you know, the way we were constructing. Now you see that the construction. See we're playing the blocks here.

Everything was done somewhere so that when they brought the materials into the place, there was no sound of hammer. If you read the scripture, there was no sound of any hit, any like hammer or any instruments sound. Everything was. I see they were just laying.

They've already prepared everything somewhere. They came into the house and just started laying them, just stacking them. This, this like they did it in a way that you don't need to hear any sound of hammer or all these things, right? So.

But what I'm saying here is that whatever happened in the Old Testament is what the shadow of what is to come. Now the Spirit of God wants to dwell in us now. Why the Holy Spirit? Jesus saw there was a kind of like a problem, right?

Jesus, in as much as Jesus was God or Jesus is God, he came in the form of human, but he was not omnipresent even while he was a human. He could not be everywhere at the same time, even if he knew everything. But he could not be everywhere because he was in human flesh. So that's why it was like it's going to be more advantageous for him to live.

And the Holy Spirit comes now he can dwell in each and every one of us. That is the goal of. That's the desire of the Father. That is why the Holy Spirit was essential.

Let's look at John 14:26. John 14:26. Honestly, this topic is lengthy. John 14:26.

But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, bring all things your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you. You wonder how the disciples are able to remember everything Jesus told them, like word for word. I don't know if you have ever sat down to look. I'm like, how did they remember the old Sermon on the Mount when there was no fireflies or anything recording it?

They remembered it. They Remember the lost prayer. They remember what he said to the woman at the well who was with Jesus when he was with the woman at the well. Have you not asked yourself those questions?

Where? How did it take so the accuracy of the word is just so amazing from Genesis till now. That's the power of the Holy Ghost. He teaches you all things, brings remembrance, all things that he has said.

That is one of the words of the Holy Spirit. He said. John 16, 7. See, Jesus was trying to tell them that it is an advantage.

Now let me tell you something. Once you understand that the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost. I like to say Holy Ghost because sometimes it carries more weight. The Holy Ghost is an advantage to a believer.

Anyone that is not baptized with the Holy Ghost, you are missing out. I promise you, whatever you achieve without being baptized with the Holy Ghost, you do times 10 more when filled with Holy Ghost. John 16, verse 7. He said, nevertheless, I tell you the truth.

Jesus is telling you, he's like, I promise you it is expedient. That is another word. It is to your advantage for you that I go away. If I don't go away, the comforter will not come unto you.

But if I depart, I will send him onto you. You see, Jesus is trying to tell us it is an advantage for us to be baptized with the Holy Ghost. It's an advantage for us to carry the Spirit of God. The same Spirit that was upon something that made him.

That Spirit of might is the same Spirit that is in us. So you see, in the Old Testament the Spirit came in different forms. Do you know that there's a time Elijah was able to teleport? In fact people, the day Elijah got to heaven.

And Elisha collected the mantle from Elijah. And when he went back to the sons of the prophet, they asked Elisha, sir, please let us go and look for Elijah. Maybe the Spirit of God has carried him to somewhere else. Because Elijah had the habit of disappearing.

Elijah cannot be standing here. Elijah is just. Let me tell you. Everything in the scripture is just to show you what is possible.

It's not that. It's not, it's not. The question is not that those are not possible till now. Elijah literally can stand here today.

Finish talking. All of a sudden he just disappears. Like live show disappears and go to another town. Some people say it was the power of the Holy Ghost.

Philip was able to enter that dimension when he baptized the Ethiopian man. He said as soon as he finished baptized person, he disappeared and appeared in Antioch. Now you know the funny thing? This same thing that is Happening with believers.

The people say that we don't desire it. Now guess what the witches and wizard is. That's what they are using. Can you imagine?

I'm not saying no, they're not using the Holy Spirit, but they are practicing these things too. They're even using it in that somebody will just a six year old child will just join witchcraft. And what the person can do in one month is just so is in fact it's just like ah, one month. But you that is equipped with the Holy Ghost nothing.

What, what are we saying here? I'm saying that or I really like to ask you even the question that you ask yourself. What will you do with the Holy Ghost? What is the purpose of the baptism of the Holy Ghost?

Because see, we're living in an age and time where there's so much knowledge. Many people can teach this topic and many people know about the Holy Spirit. But since you all the knowledge you have gathered since you enter Churchill now what have you done with the Holy Ghost? The question is, is the Holy Ghost just for salvation or empowerment?

Do you need Holy Ghost for salvation or empowerment? The baptism. I'm talking about baptism, Holy Ghost. Now let's look at three different concepts.

I've explained the what the Holy Spirit is and explain like why we need it now the difference between receiving the Spirit, receiving the Holy Spirit, being baptized by the Holy Ghost and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Now I gave you an instance where the disciples were gathered together eating and Jesus appeared into the room and told them receive the Holy Spirit and disappeared. You can find that in the book of Matthew. You find out in the Book of Matthew, just before he left in the Book of Matthew, you will find out there.

So he did that multiple times for them and it disappeared. So in the Book of Mark. Now receiving the Holy Spirit is what takes place when you give your life to Christ, you receive the Spirit of God. That's what every believer experience.

When you say, I want to give my life to Christ, you just simply what? Receive the Spirit of God. Now he said 2nd Corinthians 3:17. 2Nd Corinthians 3:17.

He said, now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. So where the Spirit of God is. That's why once you receive the Holy Spirit, you are free.

From what? Sin? You are no longer what? Bound by sin?

You are no longer bound by the law. You are free. I know the Son says free is free indeed. So when you receive the Holy Spirit, when you give your life to Christ, when you get born again, the Spirit of the Lord comes into you.

And that's why you have what liberty. 2 Corinthians 3, 17. That's what I just read. So now that's the one every believer has, right?

So everyone that is a child of God has the spirit of. In fact, the proof that you are a child of God is that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now, that's where everybody, many people have stopped. And that's where there's issue.

I'm not saying this. In fact, Romans 8, 16, he said, the Spirit himself bear witness with our spirit, that we are children of God. So that is where everybody stop. Many people stop.

Have received the Holy Spirit because you give that to Christ, you automatically just. They don't need to do any other thing. Now we find that as evidence in what Philip did in Samaria. Let's look at the Book of Acts.

I think chapter six. Let me check at chapter. Yeah, seven. Yeah.

Act chapter seven. Yeah. Act chapter seven, verse from verse 13. Act chapter seven from verse 13.

We see something there. Then Simon himself believed also. And when he was baptized, he continued with Philip and Act chapter sorry, act chapter 8, verse 13. Act chapter 8, verse 13.

Then Simon himself believed also. And when he was baptized, he continued with Philip and wondered beholding the miracles and sign which were done. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had what received the word of God. They sent unto them Peter and John take note now.

Who when they were come down, prayed for them that they might what receive the Holy Ghost. So you see there that something happened there, he said verse 16 now says something. For as yet he was falling upon none of them. Only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Full stop. See what happened there? Philip preached. Philip was an evangelist.

He preached the gospel to the whole of Samaria. He said. Said almost everybody gave their life to Christ. But there was one thing that was not lacking.

They did not receive. They were not baptized with the Holy Ghost. He said. They said they believed, they accepted Jesus Christ.

They got baptized. But he now said only that they were baptized in the name of Jesus. That's why Peter and John had now come and ask them, have you guys received, have you guys, have you been baptized with the Holy Ghost? That's what he asked them.

I'm asking you now, have you been baptized with the Holy Ghost? Don't go around claiming this and that when you have not received during Jesus said, and you receive power to be my witness. Why did Jesus not just tell Them. It's okay.

Just, just baptize. Go water, John. Baptize them. Why did he not stop there?

But you see, in the church today, I can. I can assure you that so many people are not baptized with the Holy Ghost. This is why many people are still struggling to stand for Jesus. You see, he said, you know that Peter, before he got baptized with the Holy Ghost, Peter could not even talk to a girl.

She could not talk to a girl about. She could not defend. She could not stand for Jesus. Someone that was making noise saying, ah, I can die for you, Jesus.

This, this. This small girl said, ah, you know, you are, you know part of this. He said, no, no, no, no, no. He denied three times.

As soon as he was baptized with Ghost, this man spoke. 3,000 Souls were saved. And the souls asked them, sir, what shall we do? He said, repent and be baptized.

And after he got baptized, he also baptized them with the Holy Ghost too. So see what Peter and John said then Luke 16 then laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost. In other words, they got baptized with the Holy Ghost. Like I said, when you believe, when you believe, the Spirit of God comes into you.

But that's not enough. It's just there. He's what, inactive. So to help explain what I'm saying now, I've said receiving Holy Spirit is being born again.

Baptism of the Holy Ghost is like activating the Holy Ghost. It's like activating it. It's just like this room, right? All these bulbs, they have the potential to be lit.

The bulbs connected to power, they are born again. That's like this. Until I turn on this thing. This is useless.

That is what is happening. All these bulbs, they are useless. This is the state of many believers today. They are just.

You can't, you can't shine without the activation of the Holy Ghost. That's why they could not do anything until they waited in Jerusalem till they receive power. In fact, even Jesus Christ before he started Messiah, he said how God, God himself anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power. They finished baptizing Jesus in this thing, water or baptism.

And the Bible says in Jesus case, he got baptized with the Holy Ghost that same time. Because the Bible says the dove that came and that was like so his own. I'm saying it's possible that he can also get baptized with the Holy Ghost, even in the water at the same time. But most of the time it's not the case.

In fact, do you know, he can also even get baptized with The Holy Ghost even before entering the water baptism. I will show you that in the case of Colinius and Peter and the Gentiles that were in his house, Peter was just doing what I'm doing, was just talking to them about this thing. He said that God told me I should come here and tell you guys about this and that he told them about the gospel, how Jesus died suddenly as he was talking. So dly the Bible said suddenly Peter came with some other Jews.

You know, those ones were like, they already believe that the Holy Spirit is only for the Jews. People that are in church and all these things, not for outsider. So the people saw Dain all of them, he was just talking to them just normally. I'm not even sure it was talking normally.

Suddenly they got baptized Holy Ghost Peter Shock. He said Jesus, he told these guys, can we deny these people baptism? Please let them go to the water baptism that been filled with the Holy Ghost Already it was very clear that you received the Holy Ghost. So it's not, it's not something you guess.

It's not something you guess. If you are, if you have been baptized Holy Ghost. Just the way you know whether you are baptized with water, you know, the day you enter water and came out, you know. But many people don't know whether they are baptized with the Holy Ghost.

See, the one of the worst things to have as a Christian is ignorance. You not knowing who you are, you not knowing what you have, you not knowing what you carry. The devil plays on your dark side of your life. That is dark.

He plays on your ignorance. He knows what happens when one is equipped with the Holy Ghost. See, I'm talking. I believe we're talking to mature believers that understand why Jesus was saying this thing.

Jesus will not emphasize something that is not useful. Some people are saying it's optional. I don't need it. I pity.

It's just. It's just very sad when people say things like that now. So that's the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which I explained here. Now what's the question now we now ask is what's the purpose of the baptism of the Holy Ghost?

Why do I need to be baptized by the Holy Ghost? I mean, I'm not going to ministry. I mean, I'm not. I don't want to be a pastor.

I mean, I don't want to. I just want to be normal. I just want to be okay. You see, this bulb can never be useful.

The bulb was never made for decoration. What's the point of you buying a bulb for you Never to switch it on. That is what is happening today. Now the Bible says that and ye shall be my witnesses.

So it is God desire. That's why I always ask people after salvation, what is next? What am I doing? What are you doing on earth since you have been saved?

And if the goal is just to make heaven, since I've received Christ, what am I still doing here? No, let's ask ourselves this question. If I've received Jesus Christ, if the goal is to make heaven, why don't judge Jesus? Okay, I received Jesus Christ today.

Why don't you just take me to heaven? Why do you want me to stay here? Don't you know that the longer I stay here, there's a tendency for me to go back? Because everywhere is just evil.

There's evil everywhere. The whole world is already messed up. Why God, please, why do you want me to stay? What am I doing here?

Do you want me to fall back? Everybody around me is doing bad. Why do you say I should give my life to Christ today? And you still leave me inside here?

Don't leave me, Lord. That is the point of the Holy Ghost. Do you know that the day Jesus left, the day Jesus died and this thing. Do you know that as soon as they buried Jesus Christ, do you know the 12 apostles, they went back to their work.

They started. In fact, it's as if they don't even know Jesus again. It was 40 days now. Peter went back to fishing.

As if not that is what happens. So when we give our life to Christ, there is need for you to have the Holy Spirit activated in you. Because if not, the tendency for you to go back is high, extremely high. That's why Peter and John said, have these guys received the Holy Ghost?

He did not receive. Please, please, please, please call all of them. He said. He said he lay hands on all of them, even Simon.

And you see, when he was laying hands on them, it was very clear. See, now that's important. I want to explain. If you read through the scripture, all the cases where someone was baptized the Holy Ghost, it was very clear that this one has been baptized in the Holy Ghost.

There was a clear distinction, you see. In fact, there was a clear difference between someone that baptized the Holy Ghost and someone that has not been baptized. That's why the Bible today have the Holy Spirit. I don't know why there's an emphasis on this thing, but I'm saying for you to be a mission minded believer, you must be equipped.

And the equipping is the equipping of the Holy Ghost. Through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Paul says something. That's the third one I want to talk about.

Be not drunk in wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Holy Ghost. Why did Paul say this thing? No, let's be asking ourselves question. Why is Paul emphasizing this thing?

He said, pray in the spirit always. Why is Paul emphasizing this thing? Is it that it's just for show? Is it that it's for some people or is it for all believers?

I'm saying that it's a dangerous position for us to claim to represent Jesus. The Bible calls us what? Ambassadors of Christ. I don't know whether ambassador of Christ is for some people.

So you see, when the scripture comes like this, some people like to pick parts. It's not for me, it's for them. That's where the problem is. When you don't take the whole gospel.

I think it's not for me. It's not me they're talking to. I'm not. I don't want to become a minister.

Do you know the day you gave a Christ? You have already. You already accepted automatically. You have been enrolled.

Well, not automatically though, because it's a choice. He said, if any man will follow me. Do you know who Jesus was talking to now? There was a crowd.

Everybody said they believe in Jesus Christ. No, legitly, they all believe in Jesus Christ. But see the problem? He said, if any man will come after me.

Jesus was talking to people that believe. This is the church. Everybody believes. Now the problem is that many people believe, but not many people are meant to follow Jesus.

That's what the problem is. So I would say that for you to follow Jesus, you must be baptized with the Holy Ghost. You can't follow Jesus if you are not baptized. Simon believed in Jesus Christ.

Simon believed. See, look at it now that Simon, that was a sorcerer. He was a juju priest. See, that's act chapter 8.

See what he said now? Verse 18, Act 8. 18. And when Simon saw that true laying on on the of the apostle and the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money saying, give me also this power.

Simon was a what believer? He was part of the crowd, but he didn't want to follow Jesus. He has not yet started following Jesus Christ yet. He said, give me also this power that on whomsoever I lay, he may receive the Holy Spirit.

Peter said, may your money perish with you because you thought the gift of God may purchase it. Money. What am I saying there? Verse 24.

Then I start Simon and say, pray to me Pray to the Lord for me that none of this which I've spoken will happen. So what am I saying here? I'm saying that it's not enough to be a believer. I'm still saying this thing.

Are you a believer or you're a follower? So for me to be an effective follower, I must be baptized with the Holy Ghost. I'm giving you reasons why we need to be baptized with everybody in the church. Because you can't.

You can't see. Let me tell you what the church. The church is like a. Is a training ground, or it's also a ground where.

Like a hospital as well, where people are being healed. And you're also being trained. You are trained. The church is meant to be like an army barrack where.

I'm sorry, but know when the Bible says we are soldiers of the cross. I don't know. Maybe I don't know how you are picturing all these things. This.

We are literally in a warfare. And you must be equipped. So when I come to church on Sunday, I am coming here to get equipped so that I go back to the world on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Saturday. On Sunday I come back and I recharge.

I go back and I'm able to shine as a light. Now let me tell you what the influence of the Holy Ghost is. Infilling is a continuous activity that is done. You only get baptized Holy Ghost once.

Now, the infilling is what Paul and what the apostles were doing. Now let me prove it to you. The apostles, you know, after they got baptized, the Holy Ghost, they went out. Peter and John.

Precisely. And they went to go and start preaching. Suddenly, the Jews or the Pharisees, they came to St. Don't preach in the name of Jesus Christ. Again they flogged them 40 strokes.

And guess what? They went back. They said, who should you obey, God or man? Because they were sent by God to do that thing.

And they went back to their brethren and they told them everything. I'm just paraphrasing. If I read it in the Book of Acts, I think three or four. Three or four.

They went back to their brethren and they went to talk to them. And guess what they did? They prayed again. They prayed again.

Let's look at it there. Act chapter four, verse. Yes, act chapter four, verse 31. Act chapter four, verse 31.

And when they had prayed, the place were shaking together. The place was shaking where they were assembling together. And they were all filled with the oligos. Now, is it not these people that Got filled in the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter one, that they said they waited in the upper room and the Holy Ghost came as a tongue of gloaming fire.

And they all baptized with the Holy Ghost and they speak in tongues. Now we come and see here in Acts chapter 4. Again, they were all filled. What am I saying?

I've already explained that you can receive the Holy Ghost, you can be baptized, and you can also be filled. Now the filling. Now this is the second time they got filled, Holy Ghost. So I'm saying here that just because you're activated doesn't mean you always be filled.

Because when you get activated, the Bible says, out of your belly shall flow what? Rivers of living water. Which means that you need to be constantly filled. There was a prophecy about Ezekiel talking about the temple.

He said he saw it in a vision. The temple water was flowing. It was. It was rising up from his ankle level to the knee level, from the knee level to the waist level, from the waist level to shoulder level.

And until now was an overflow. That is what is a prophecy concerning what the influence of the Holy Spirit means. Some of us now, you have been baptized by the Holy Ghost, but you have not been filled. Now let me explain what feeling is.

Feeling is some of us right now, the level of the Holy Spirit is like the, the. The. The level of power, infinite. Like receiving that power to do what we need to do, infinite.

Like some of us is like 2%. At your knee level, according to Ezekiel's prophecy, is at your knee level. Now, how do you get filled? You see that what all the way doing, they prayed.

And when they prayed, the place was shaking together with the assembles. There was evidence that, oh, something's happening. And they were all filled. So as they were praying, it's rising, Is rising, Is rising.

This is another reason why we pray. That Paul was saying, pray without ceasing. Don't be drunk in wine. When you say, but be filled.

It's like, you know, when you are drinking, there's a way. No, when people drink alcohol, it's not that they get drunk. Maybe they just take one sip. It's when they keep drinking.

That's why they say, drink but don't. Some people say, drink, but don't get drunk. They get drinking, then you get to a point where it toxicates you. It is simply when you pray, there's a way.

You pray and continue praying and praying and praying until you get filled. And when you get filled, look at what they did with the feeling. And they Were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spake the word of God. See what I'm asking again.

What will you do with the Holy Ghost? They speak with the word of God with boldness. So the infilling led to something. Which is what?

Boldness to speak the word of God. Do you know how hard it is to speak the word of God with authority now for me to speak here? Ah, the first time it's not. You know, there's difference between you knowing how to Some people just do public speaking because there's no power in the world.

And that's where the problem is. When you don't equip yourself the Holy Ghost and you speak. It's not. There's no power.

Someone can say, ah, this thing is powerful. What you spoke was powerful. Today I'm not looking for the word is powerful. It must transform.

Something must shift in your heart. That's why now, okay, the Holy Spirit was at work here. Because the Holy Spirit can only is only one that can turn something your heart. I'm asking again, what will you do?

The Holy Ghost is the Holy Ghost for you just to receive salvation. The Holy Ghost, you don't need to. Let me tell you, you don't need to be b. Let me prove that to you.

The guy on the cross that died, the thief on the cross, Jesus was here just today. You give me paradise. Did that guy get baptized Holy Ghost? No, Holy Ghost have not come that time.

He told you give me paradise. But why was he going to be in heaven? Because he believed in what? Jesus Christ.

I'm saying if you want to just go to heaven, just believe in Jesus Christ. He said whoever believe in will not pray about eternal life. He did not say whoever is not b. So I'm telling you that is beyond.

If you know you're going to stay in this earth for more than 30 years, 20 years, 10 years after he gets saved. Ah, and you say I can manage without the Holy Spirit, without being baptized by a joke. Because you if devil does handle you small, ah, you are gone. And that's why many, you see, people are just back and forth, back and forth because they don't have the power to overcome.

The power is not enough. You have to generate power. So this is, I don't know, maybe it might not be for everybody, but this word is for those who want to be mission minded believers. When you go to heaven, you realize that it's beyond making heaven.

You see that there's crown, There's a crown and stars. That's when you be saying, oh, more. I wish I knew. I would have done more.

And for you to do more. He said, he said, I'm going to heaven. But he said, he told us, you will do greater things than I did. Paul did greater things than Jesus Christ.

Believe it or not, Paul did greater things than Jesus Christ. Not because he was stronger than Jesus, no, it was just Christ that was doing it through Paul. Because Paul has received Jesus Christ and he now got empowered and he was filled. He did greater miracles than Jesus Christ.

And I say it again, it's not because he was greater than Jesus Christ, but because Jesus said he's going to heaven, so he's not going to be able to do more things by himself, but he's going to do it through us. So Jesus is looking for vessels to use. And if you use yourself, yeah, I am Lord, use me and you receive the Holy Ghost, get baptized, then you are always being filled. Then when you get filled, this is not the problem again, many people get filled.

They don't now pour out. He said, out of your belly shall flow river, living water. Which means that I must pour out what you have received. You don't give what you don't have.

So when you see, that's why you see some people, the Bible said one of the prophets said something. And your words like fire in my bones. That's what this guy, one of the prophets, I see Ezekiel or Isaiah. Like there's a way that you can pray, finish and finish in scripture.

Your body will just be hot. Like at that point. That's what happens when you feel, you see, they explained what they could not. They have to just talk.

And at that point, anything. See now, see now verse 32. And the multitude of them that believe were one heart and one soul. Neither said any of them what they possess.

And if you read everything you see the evidence what happened. Imagine a church that is filled to the Holy Ghost King. This truth cannot remain the same. It can't remain.

You can't. You can't see a sick person. You see, that's why, that's why there's very low, minimal demonstration of power. And I asked myself, how do you want to prove to somebody that your God is real if Jesus Christ did not even like there was no day that Jesus did not do.

I don't know if there was a day that he did not do signs and wonders. How do you expect in fact even now that things are even worse that everybody knows. Go and ask many people know this Bible every to toe. What do you want to tell him so he said, the kingdom of God is not just in words, but in power.

Prove. Show me. Show me that your God is real. That what Elijah did now on the mountain.

He said, if I be. He said. He said, if I be a man of God, let fire come down. He did.

Elijah did not just bring fire from everyone. So it was four times. The first one was the day of in. In baal where all the prophets.

The other time was when people came to arrest him. The first time said, if I be a man of God, let fire consume. He consumed the first one. Second time he came in, if I be a man of God consumed.

They tell this guy knelt on please sir, have mercy on me. And the Holy Spirit told him, go with them. And he went to them. I read to close because we are in an age and time where the heart of many will grow cold.

Many people will no longer believe. In fact, they will turn their ear. In fact, the Bible says now there will be a time where people will turn their ear from sound doctrine. They don't want to hear things like this.

They want to close their ear. They want to hear the one that is just this thing. Don't be like that. The word of God still stand, is still the same.

And if we don't allow ourselves to manifest God's glory on the earth, ah, I don't know what happened to our future, to the children of dies to come. They'll be like, ah, Daddy, all those things that I'm seeing in the Bible, why is it not happening again? Why is that? Is God still alive?

They'll be asking those questions because they see you and all they see in your life. There's nothing like, it's not. They are like, what are we doing? Someone is sick and nothing happens.

Someone is sick now Anotica happened. So this, this, this prayer, this topic is a charge for us to ask ourselves deeper questions. Am I, am I feel? What.

What am I doing? What have I done with the Holy Ghost since he baptized me? What. What has changed in my life?

What has happened in my vicinity? Don't be a normal Christian. I don't know. I always say this thing.

Don't be a normal Christian. You can't. You can't shift. You can't change things.

You can't shift things in your. Your community. You can't be a light without the battle of Libra and that against feeling. So it's a lengthy topic, but I'll just stop here.

So we're going to pray to God that God will help us we're going to pray to God that God will baptize the church with the Holy Ghost and there will be an infilling of the Holy Spirit. Because there's a lot I don't lots of time. We trust God, that the Lord lead us as we pray. And again, one final thing to close with.

In the case of Mary, the Holy Ghost came upon her. But guess what? The Holy Ghost empowered her to bet something. So when the Holy Ghost comes upon you, there's going to be a betting.

It might not be a physical birth. Our own was childbirth. You just empower that. He said on the power you got power.

God will come upon you and you will give birth to his son. That was Jesus. Mary did not do miracle like us, like diggers, like the apostles. But the Holy Ghost came upon us.

Something happened. When the Holy Ghost come upon you, something must be forth. I remember my own case. Something must be forth.

I was my own case. I was not bold like this. I could not talk confidently. I could not.

It was not possible for me to come and tell somebody, ah, how far did you give me my life to Christ? Like it was not in my DNA at all. That's what happens when there's a kind of uncommon boldness you don't even fear. Again, I pray God help us.
