Knowing the God that We Serve

Each evening this service because he was as if we will not be able to gather. Glory be to God will not allow the house, the doors of this sanctuary to shut again. Today's matrix it is the Lord making you give God Glory to God. What we are going to use as our topic of discussion this evening says knowing the God we serve, knowing the God we serve.

As Christians and as believers in Christ Jesus, we should know the God that we serve. We are not serving a man made God. We are not serving stones. We are not serving wood.

We are serving the Almighty God. The God that we serve. The God of the Christians. God of believers.

His name is Almighty. His name is what? Almighty. He is the father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

That is the God that we serve. He is a wonderful God. God who understands our situations. God whose thoughts always give good thought to all of us is good.

He's a mighty God. God should care and provide for our needs. God that answers prayers. It's a message book of He's a living God.

He's a covenant keeping God. We have to trust him. We have to reference him. We have to worship Him.

We have to ask him to give us the grace for us to appreciate him at all given time because he is good and his message endure forever knowing the God will serve. David understand this very well. He has. He learned about this God.

He worked with him, he called Him. He depends upon him. There was no value. There was no disappointment.

That was why the Bible made us to know that he was the man after God's hands. He understands better. Let's go to the Scriptures and read from First Chronicles. We take our readings from First Chronicles chapter 28 and read verse 9 Chronicles, First Chronicles.

Chapter 28 and we read verse nine. And thou Solomon, my son, know thou the God of thy Father and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind for the Lord. Searcheth all hearts and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts. If thou seek him, he will be found of thee.

But if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever. This is the admonition of a father who knows the God that he serves, that he is a loving God. He is a faithful God. He is a merciful God, and at the same time a terrible God.

A consuming fire he called his Son and admonish it. See, you need to understand this God that you that you serve is not a kind of God that you can coin with. So you have to. Serve him with all your heart.

You have to reference him, you have to love him, you have to obey Him. That is when he will be well with you. And if you in any way forsake him, he too will also upset you. He will cast you out.

That is the God that we serve. He is a God that has no respect, no regard for women over any human being. He is a God of justice. His judgment is perfect.

It does not care whether you are a poor man or you are a rich man. He does not care whether you are black or white. He does not care whether you are God or luscious. He is a perfect God.

He is just God. His judgments are perfect. Not what we are experiencing here in the world today. You and I know that we don't have justice in this world because there is no one in life, our God.

Especially in these our days and time. Many are looking on faces, many because of one thing or another. How they know the person. They can, you know, turn things.

But our God is not so. He is a wonderful God. He is a God. He does all these things in truth and in holiness.

So there is no unrighteousness in him. This is a God that you cannot force him. You can't force him even in industry. You cannot fault him in his judgment is a technical.

It is not the kind of judge that we are having today like the kind that we have in St. Luke Gospel, chapter 18. Let's look at the judge of the world. St. Luke, chapter 18. Read from verse two.

There was in the city a judge which feared not God, neither regarded man. And there was a widow in that city. And she came unto him, saying, avenge me of my adversaries. And he was not for a while, but after what he said within himself.

Though I fear not God nor regard mine. Yet because this widow troubled me, I would have banished her, lest by her continual coming she weary did this is what is going on in the world. And the judgment is like his name. Like his name is unjust, Josh, our God is not so when we look at this story here from the parable of the Lord, we come to discover that it is a man, a human being that has no fear of God.

Neither does he regard man. His name was unjust, Josh, for judging this woman, deciding to judge this woman, this widow woman. It's not because you want to do his right thing, because his name already is unjust. He decided to judge people, not the cause.

Like he said, if this woman keep coming, her coming will be really will make me sad, will not give me joy. It could be this woman is only God that knows how many times this Woman has been going to him, either his house or his chamber, where he has his palace. And I as human being used to behave. I'm sure he must have been noticing that woman from afar, seeing the woman coming through the gate.

If not, disable it. And the age will say, oh, is that widow woman. Tell her I'm very busy. So that day I got a room.

He will come another day saying hi to people. He does not have time to listen to you. He was and this woman, keep coming, keep coming, keep coming. He was like, ah, let me do something for this woman.

Because her coming will trouble me, will weary me, who make me not happy. Though I don't hear God, though I don't regard money. Let me answer her, let me answer her so that she will stop coming to me. I don't like to see her.

I don't want her coming to me. That is what unjust jobs said. And he has to avenge the woman. He has to answer her request and grant her her desire, which I believe that from that very day she answered the woman.

The woman had stopped coming to him. And he himself, he had breathed in and said, oh, I'm free now of the will. She's no good, accept. But her boy did not.

So that is why he did say, our God is just. There is no unrighteousness in Him. He doesn't have regards for persons. If you are guilty, you are guilty.

If you are wrong, you are wrong. If you are right, you are right. That is the kind, the kind God that we serve. God of justice is our God that we serve.

The topic says, knowing the God that we serve, Knowing the God that we serve. God of justice is the God that we are serving. So we have to keep trusting in Him. We have to trust him and know fully well that he is with us.

Whatever he has promised us is a faithful God. He is going to do it for us. Let's see again in the book of Philippians. Knowing God can be served.

The Book of Philippians, chapter 4 we read verse 19. But my God shall supply all my needs and your needs according to his riches to glory by Christ Jesus. The God that we serve is a supplier. Supplier of good things.

Nathan is the giver of life is one that provided food and many other things. Protection, care is a thank you God. He provides all these things for us. That's why the Word says that he will supply all our needs according to his riches in glorify Christ Jesus.

Christ Jesus is our master. He is our elder brother. We need to pay attention to Him. We need to listen to Him.

We need to humble ourselves before him and obey his words. Whatever he has commanded us to do, that is word we should do so that things will work out well for us. He is a wonderful God, a caring God, a God that answers prayer wherever his name has been mentioned, wherever his attention is needed. That is why the world made us to know how the word of God is powerful.

The word of God is faster than anything that can be fast. If you hear somebody, you have challenges. Whether it is at home while you are in the city or you may be abroad when you hear that there is a challenge somewhere, maybe in the village, with your mom, with your dad, with your brethren, the fastest thing for you to do is for us to go to God in prayer, call upon him, talk to him, tell him what you want, how you want him to handle that situation for you. No matter the distance, he will do it for us.

There is no point looking at your private jet and said, oh, let me jump in, let me fly down home. That will heal you. You may not even succeed. You may even jump into your aircraft and move up there.

You may encounter bad weather, you may encounter what knew you die. So this is the God that we serve. We have to know him knowing the God that we serve. God, the God that we serve is here with us.

The God that we serve is everywhere. Whenever we call upon him in spirit and in truth, he hears us. He will act beyond our expectation. That is why Jeremiah describes him as a God is not only a God at hand, it is also a God that is afar.

Jeremiah 23, we read verse 23 and 24. Am I a God at hand? Said the Lord and not a God abide. This is he is asking us this question.

You that want to jump into your private jet to zoom off so that you can rush to meet your people, you miss what you're supposed to do in order to get the quick response. Don't allow the enemy Satan to deceive you to say, oh, he's too far. Oh, I didn't think that he was here. I could have done this.

I could have prayed for him. I could have called my pastor to pray. God has given us power to pray. He hears our prayer.

We just need to call upon him in doing an injuries. That is why the word of God is acknowledging us, for us to clean ourselves from sin. Because sin is the only thing, that barrier that put a stomping block for our prayer to be for God to answer our prayer. If our ways are right with God, wherever you are he will answer.

He will do beyond our expectation so that we will verify Him. That is what he wants from us. So he is telling me, he's asking us here as a question. He said, am I only a God?

That when he thinks he's near, when. When around here, that is where I am. Is that what you think? Am I not the God that is that is everywhere.

No matter the distance, no matter where, He's everywhere. All we need is to call upon him and believe in him when we do. Answer 24 can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? You that think that God can hide or God cannot hear you, or you yourself think you can hide from God so that God will not be able to see you.

That is what the enemy is using to deceive Many. Many will not want to commit sin. Sin. They think that they are so wise.

They want to travel abroad. It is when they get there, that is when they can do what God has told them not to do. They think that they have as they have left where they were before both. That even God, they left him behind.

That God has. God is not there. He has left that place through God. He has left God, which is a blinded life from the pit of hell.

This is what God is telling us no more. There is no special place that we can hide from Him. No place that we can hide from Him. Do not I fear heaven and earth, said the Lord.

When you stand, wherever you are, when your leg turns round, or even if wherever you may are, just lift up your eyes and look at the sky. That is to tell us that there is nowhere you can hide. There is no way I can hide. So whenever the enemy Satan comes to deceive you, deceive us so that we believe that we can hide, we are deceiving ourselves.

Our God is a faithful God. He is everywhere. He cares for us. Let us humble ourselves and obey his voice.

And serve him as he wants us to serve him. Serving his spirit and in church so that he will reward us. He will reward us that at the end he is going to reward us. Because he is almighty God.

He holds everything. Everything is in his hand. Everything is in his hand. So don't think that we can hide from God.

Don't think that we can deceive God. Don't think that God is like a human being that you can easily deceive. You cannot deceive Him. He sees and knows every secret, anything that we do and he holds.

He's the rewarder of his people. If you seek the Lord, he said he's a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He will make Himself a better for them. That is why he's warning us for us to stay away sin and live the life worthy of God and serve him in spirit and in truth.

Because he had something to give us at the end. Shall we read Revelation 22? We read verse 12 and 13 and behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according to according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

That is the God that we serve. We must have this understanding as we do. Let's ask grace from God. God will give us the grace for us to live our life as he wants us to live.

To serve him in spiritual truth so that we will be blessed of Him. We will receive the reward of righteousness. The reward. The reward of serving him gratefully so that he will secure our soul in his kingdom.

Our soul will be at rest with him in eternity. The love of God. Our time is vast and we cannot break other cases that we have. So we pray that the Holy Spirit will be shall beautiful in our hearts.

And there was no understanding of this world. And wherever we, whatever we do, wherever we go, we should always know the God that we serve. That's why our company says, knowing the God that we serve, knowing the God that we serve is a faithful call, is a trustworthy God. Let us keep trusting Him.

Let us believe in Him. Let us ask him for grace for us to live our life as he want us to live. So that he will be happy with us and the blessings of God will not pass. May the Lord.
